Learning the game terms.

Hey guys only on my first season, I've been reading around the forums at tactics, tutorials etc and was wondering if someone could help me with these terms that I keep seeing in formations, an example :

3W-2N-2N-2W-1

It may be obvious but I just can't work it out haha!

W = wide, for example 3W could be ML, MC, MR
N = narrow, MC, MC, MC
Same goes for DC, DMC, AMC

W-wide
N-narrow. So the one you said is DL,DC,DR, DMC, DMC, MC, MC, AML,AMR and ST.
