Lost a player on auction despite highest bid

The auction says I "lost" when I am sitting in the lead after the timer had run out.

And I had perfect internet connection, so it wasn't a case of it dropping out or lagging and I missed the last bid, and continued to play straight after the auction had finished, so not sure what it was.

Only lost 1 token, so no big deal, just wondered if anyone knew what exactly had happened.
