Well it's been a tough couple of days for the boys of Aesculus park.
I lost 2-1 in the league to the other top team, pretty much ending my title bid.
Then I lost 1-0 in the first leg of the champions league.
Now I just lost 2-0 in the 2nd leg of the cup semi final.
26 shots total between two matches and I couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.
Both matches I had 20% more possession but they had 6 more shots each.
The cup game went to extra time and penalties. The other manager didn't watch the match. His one central defender got injured and replaced by a much weaker player, but somehow his defenders who must've been under 50% were still taking the ball away from my fresh subs.
Anyway, my keeper finally saved a penalty, and my boys don't miss from the penalty spot, so Conker Fc are thru to their first Cup Final.
I don't fancy my chances to be honest, the other guys first team are all 6 stars, and three 7 stars. I have one 7, one 6 and the rest are all 5.(though most of them do end in 9q)

We had slight possession and they had slightly more shots on target and all the pressure, we took the lead on 25 minutes when Chicharito headed in a Sanchez corner but they equalized 4 minutes later when they hit us on the counter and they took the lead just before half time with a header from a corner, I changed formation in the second half and it was plain to see it was not going to be our night, they made their subs and had 7 in their own half and we could not break that down and then they injured Veuthey, nice.

Out of the cup... Lost 5-1 on aggregate to a much stronger side. They had 8* and 9* players, absolutely no chance for us.
But we did get 3rd place and this is our best cup finish since level 1!!
League round 22
We played with the B- team against this opponent. I wanted to save the most strongest players for tommorow. We face then our revival. Tommorow we play against the nr 2. If we win tommorow then we have a advantage from 8 points. In this match we missed also 2 big changes but they goes wide.
