This return fixture was just as close as the first game and we were grateful for our slender first leg lead. The only goal of this match came after 71 minutes, when Jacob Wilkinson laid on a pass for Wayne Dixon to finish off. Late on, Vener Chekmarev sustained a hamstring injury which sidelines him for 6 days. Wayne Dixon was given man of the match.

We have made the second round of the cup for the first time in six seasons. Now we await the draw, and also the new league line-up.

We tried it again with the narrow diamond against 3-2-2-1-2. This time with succes. We are trough the next round. A special thnx to dv8r.
Lucky we had a away goal that was important for us. It took a long time in this match before we had chances.

It was quite a dull game and I'd say the score reflected what happened. We didn't really bother scoring any more goals, it didn't matter as we had a huge advantage going into the game. We couldn't break our opponents down because they had newly bought 8* players but we still had more chances. It was in the 2nd half when Nascimento headed in his 4th goal in 2 games from Dickson's corner. It was a boring remainder to the half but it was our defence who was triumphant as they showed a great display of defending towards the end to prevent the draw. Petric getting his first MOTM of his career and Dickson getting his first assist on his debut. On we go!
