Well, you could try making some in game friends. I have, and my two friends that started the game with me are no longer in the same league with me. This isn't what I wanted, but there ya go.

Cup titles - 4 (Level 7, Level 8, LEVEL 10, LEVEL 12)
Champions League titles - 2 (LEVEL 10, LEVEL 12)
On a tactical level , i always have in game friends on lower levels with lower quality points.As nordeus does try to put friends together in a league ,i avoid making friends with same level players who are a higher or similar quality and therefore don't risk getting put in a league with them.....in other words try to reduce the quality of your league opposition at the outset!
