4-3-2-2 arrows and tactics.

Im a new player, joined halfway through last season and came second in the league. Today, I have my first ever cup game today, and I am playing against a better team. He is level 4 and 20.4 quality, I am 18.8. He is playing 4-1-2-3 (dmc 2mc 3 st) I have selected to play 3-3-2-2 (3mc 2aml/r) as I believe it will counter his formation, the problem is I have never played it before so I dont know what tactics I should use or arrows. Any help is appreciated, if possible leave the reasons with your tactics as well as the tactics.Thanks a lot and good luck this season!
