Goalkeeper taking corners and free kicks?

So I was setting my new orders after I bought a bunch of players and well, seems like my goalkeeper has the best crossing rating.

I wondered if anyone has used their gk as their corner taker and whether the match engine treat it special when you do that.

Yeah, I have a hunch it wont make a difference. I am going to test it for my next game.

Does it make a difference which player to take kicks from the left and right ie should a lefty take from the left or the right side?

When I tested it, no. A good freekick taker will score on both sides irrespective of which foot he is strongest o..

But I put the right footers on the right side v.v anyway because I dont want one person taking all the freekicks in a match in case he is off form and in case it does make some difference.

I have 2 good free kick takers both either footed, so I have put them alternate. eg. Porceddu is the first choice to take the left ones and 2nd to take the right and Perbet is the 1st choice to take the right and 2nd to take the left.
