    building upgrade

    I have just started the game and whilst looking around immediately started stadium upgrade before realising it can't be stopped....or can it?

    It cannot be stopped. You can either wait for it to be completed or pay tokens to speed it up.

    Spending tokens on speed up the buildings, it is a waist, specialy If you do not buy them.
