I have just got my two youth players this morning. Normally I sign the free one and then sell him for the cash and I normally just ditch the other one.
I just wanted to know other peoples experience of signing the youth player, are they any good?
They want 24 tokens for this player and he is a 4*(72) player. He plays AMC/AMR.
Should I sign him? And what about the free player and they any good?
At 24 tokens hell be a fast trainer but tbh it depends on your TL. I never buy my youth player as my TL is great and i can get players better for alot less tokensQuote:

if you cant get an AMC/AMR 4* on the TL, then buy him if you need him. 18YO 4* are not as expensive as 5* obviously, so check on the prices. The only reasons are if you cant find that position and you want to save the money
as Herdo says but i keep non token and train for rest of season then sell on on first day of new season as the market goes mad
i get mine in 2 days...i'm only lvl 2 and i wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze...
Any ideas?
I think signing the academy players is really a matter of personal choice. As I keep a full squad of 22 players, signing one of the youngsters would require me selling one of my established players, so I rarely do it, and just let them go. Having said that, I did get a young striker back in level 4, that impressed me. I was lucky that it happened at the end of the season and I had a player that was about to retire. So I signed the newbie into the vacant place. He was a fast trainer and quickly made it up to 6* plus he learned two new positions. He stayed for 6 seasons and I eventually sold him for 72 million, (his value was 28m), because three bidders got into a bidding war over him.
it all depends on how your squad is and what position is with signing token one and how many tokens he will cost as said only the 20/24 tokens are worth it as fast trainer and with the non token i`d sign train all season and sell first day of season ( transfer madness) unless you need the money ? then put on on transfer marketQuote:

I usually sell my worst player to sign the free one and I usually would buy the replacement for this worst player first. Kill two birds with one stone. If I tank the season, I might think of signing the 24T one, but only if l cant find a comparable on the transfer market. I did recently for 1 token, got a 4* backup GK that was actually better than the 24T GK 4*, but cost me $23M and one token instead of NOTHING and 24T. Second of all ive been having messages with someone from Nordeus support since Friday about the friendly fiasco and so far he has told me that I can reject friendlies despite me telling him I arranged a game and tried to cancel straight away but it wouldn't let me because it was too close to kick off and I asked if he could explain that. He then told me there is restriction of 3 hours between competition matches but the next day told me it was 15 minutes.
He also told me it takes 2 years to implement the friendly change because they have to check for bugs!!!!
This guy is just confirming what I thought....Nordeus do not have a clue!!!!
Get it sorted pronto Nordeus!!!!!
