About Pitch Pressure

I will face an opponent a bit better than my squad,, he plays 4/3/1/2 (with 3 MC and 1 AMC).
My formation will be: 4/1/4/1 (with 1 DMC), defensive mentality, no offside trap, counter attack, through the flanks, and red arrows on MR and ML.
Just something is missing: how can I choose the pitch pressure: pressing the whole pitch or own half ?

He has an AMC so I would do own half with no offside trap and no counter attack...
