I can see why people quit this game, or close their account and start again, when they get to some of the higher levels.

I'd really like to see an official version of the T35 League, even if it involves a monthly/seasonal subscription.

/slap myself for not signing upto T35 when it rebooted last month (I figured I was still in my first season and might be too much of a noob to deserve a spot lol)

I created a better team with less then 40 tokens (11/11 SA).

The team you saw is/could be just a normal team not a token buyer. You can get your team to the same level if you play well, it'll take a couple of seasons though.

To build up your team quickly without tokens:

1/ buy a team of "old but good" players. They're cheap and will allow you to win the league + do well in CL/cup. Also try to get a team of "crap but young" players. This should be affordable, only bid if no one else is bidding as you don't want to waste tokens.

2/ Assuming you have 2x games each day, you should ensure every player starts 1x game so that they all get to play but don't get too tired.

3/ after each game, work out how much condition your players will gain before your next game. Then train them until they are at a point where they'll have 95-99% condition in the next game.

4/ watch every match and make at least 1x substitution to ensure you get a bonus green pack.

5/ get your friends to send you a green/blue/red/skill pack every day, and do the same for them.

6/ Win games, adjust your formations and orders to ensure you win. Use your best players for the difficult matches. You need to qualify for CL league (top4 on league) + ideally win as many games in CL/Cup to keep progressing.

7/slowly phase out the good old players with good young players instead.

8/ then phase out the ok young players (they won't be crap anymore if you trained them) with good young players

9/ train your really expensive (fast trainers) young players as much as possible after a game, boosting their conditioning with your green boosters.

10/ be amazed at how you now have a team full of 4/5/6 star players within maybe 2-3 seasons without buying a single token.

Most difficult part though, is you have to win a lot of games and try to play your young crap players every day. As your young crap players go up in quality they also go up in value, they are an investment towards subsidizing the cost of new players. They also help to keep your team at a high level of condition without requiring green boosters (since you want to ideally save these for when you get some fast trainers so you can train the f*** out of them upto 6 stars).
