Tokens and bidding

Ok so today i went after a player i really really needed, had 21 tokens, and was in a bidding war with this guy who in the end won and i lost my 21 remaining coins so now im screwed.

Now in my opinion i find this to be unfair simply because there is people out there who buy tokens, so my idea is, to make it fair those who lose out in a big bidding war are refunded with the takes they have used to bid with, but if you got the player you lose the tokens obviously.

Im now sitting here thinking what is the point, the token system with transfers needs to be revised in my opinion.

Im pretty much screwed now.

Big -1 to this. Manage your tokens better then there would be no need for getting involved in bidding wars, especially if you run on 35T a season. If you simply got your tokens back in a bidding war then it would go on forever... pretty pointless to be honest.

Refunding tokens would artificially raise the bids for pretty much every player. Everyone would bid a substantial amount of tokens because they know they will get back their tokens even if they don't win anyways. I would agree with getting a portion of your tokens back, but all of them will lead to some terrible inflation.

That's the same. What would be the point of bidding then? You could bid until you have no tokens left and then you lose the auction - and tada, you'll have your tokens back.

I think we should get like 10% or 20% of the tokens back, but not more.

I have to agree with dv8r. You need to manage your tokens better. You need to*learn when to bid for palyers. I needed a backup striker and this morning got a 5* striker for 1 token. If you only had 21tokens I would have given up after 7 and tried for someone else.

I usually have a 5 token max rule .. broke that today in mass biddign war for a aml/amc player I really needed . I eventually got him in round 22 knockout . token scout would have been only slightly better ( but non in that position at that time ) so I figure my 22 token were worth it

I find alot of people have 5 token rule so I would normally got to 6or7 depending in how many I have.

The reason I'm saying you shouldn't get any tokens back is because I went to 67 rounds vs some guy for a fast trainer. He then could not bid on the other players I wanted and I got them for a few tokens each. If he had got his tokens back, he would have done the same to me again and again and I probably would have spent 300 tokens on 3 players lol!

as non token buyer i`m a tight ass this is why i NEVER bid on first few day`s let everyone else lose tokens then pick up the good ones for less, although i did get 2 cracker`s 5* and not far of scout for a combined fee of 6 tokens so it`s worth watching market and bid late if not to many pre bidding, i still need two player`s but in no rush
