I was bidding 4 a 5* MC, 27 yo and there were just 2 of us, the other a non-token buyer and 1 level above me. I went 2 rounds in and when I bid in the 2nd KO round, the clock turned yellow and said wait.... then after 3-4 seconds it started countdown from 19 secs. I had only 2 Tokens left and wanted to bid in the last 5 secs. But the clock went to 10 secs and then said, " Finished, Lost". seriously, 10 secs skip at once!!!! This is nonsense!!! Hate u nordeus!!!!!
Then don't be a sneaky troll and bid in the last 5 seconds. That'll teach you

hmmm, I bet the majority disagree with that. I base my bidding on the strength of my internet connection. Since I live on an island, weather affects my connection sometimes. if I knew I had a 100% dependable connection, I would bid in last 2 secs, like the majority.
i got very decent connection so i can get those last second bids on most of the time.Quote:

Can someone explain the logic of bidding in the last seconds? I just don't get it. If another player has already bid in a knockout round, surely there is no benefit in being the last to bid. Why risk your bid not counting, just to be last in, when the bidding is going to go to another round anyway.

So it sounds like server lag. Hopefully this teaches you to always bid in the first few seconds. I rarely ever bid in the last 5 seconds unless i'm trying to outsmart another bidder
if you get the last bid in that round the other person might not bid the next round / run out of tokens / give up etc . isee some peopel biddign twice the same round .. poinltess as well
Especially in lower leagues there are players who do not bid in another round when they already have the leading bid... So you can take him out with bidding for example in round 4 as the first, he may think you're frustrated, bidding your last token, then you counter with a last second bid in the next round, and I really mean a last second bid, not when 2 or 3 seconds are left. I've won many players by using this strategy.Quote:

Its not that I went for last sec. I went for last 5 out of 19 secs. And a skip of 1 or 2 secs, which often happens, wudn't have affected. But a skip of 10 secs all at once, is that not too much???Quote:

If you constantly bid in the first 1-4 seconds, it gives the impression that you want him badly and are not risking any sort of server lag which could potentially lose you tokens. These are the kinds of players that will not fall to a trick like that. So this is why I'm saying, bid early... I have won my last one in a very simple way.
Saw a player with triple role and sa, witch auction ended in 5am, put in my favorites, and whent to sleep, iPad always makes a warning signal 2 minutes before the end of auction, i woke up with the signal, bid the player, won it, and got back to sleep.
