What's the point of youth players?

not forced per se, but yes, as you have no choice but to buy or release them, so you are "forced" to sign the youth you get or lose them. Thats one way to look at it, but again, nobody is forced to do anything in this game...just strongly persuaded.

Yes but the title of the thread asks a different question. :D

I always release the 21T one. The one I can sign for free I keep for a little while, especially if his position is undermanned. I get a lot of injuries, so more players are always welcome. I do get a bit autistic sometimes and just sell or fire the low level ones, later having troubles to fill the position.
