Yes - I wouldn't want to have any of these guys in my league - they are obviously big token buyers.
Good luck with your league if you get any of these managers in it... LOL
If they spend this way on level 2 - think about how much they will spend in lvl 5-6-7 - SCOUT Teams all the way.
I can tell you one thing for sure: NORDEUS loves these two guys
They're better off buying 2 scouts for those amount of tokens and have about 13M free LOL
Both managers could of had 2 scout players for all those tokens spent bidding for that player.

What even better is that player cost almost 3 time the value of his entire team. That do not make any sense to have a team average 18.1 stars and buy a player for that price (and the amount of tokens).
This morning I wanted to buy a player 29 stars ( not even close to thirty) 31 year old MC (play maker)as a back up for my injured MC's and at the last 5 second 10+ players bid on him??? I just did two round to test the water and there were still 8 players....i dropped and watch the sale.....round 25 2.5 millions for a player at 387K value....it's decided I do not buy any more players this season, I will deal with injuries as i can. People are really too crazy
that`s why i sit out at start off season, let them waste money and tokens then boom ty i`m in mopping the rest up, although this season won`t need to get any players till end off season as squad is good enough at mo, might get a couple new faces with hopefully higher stars for the start of next season :)Quote:

why that guy can afford that .. and yesterday the game didn't allow me to place a bid asking me to buy more token .. when i have a bid of £1.02m while my account had £1.01m? it only offered me a chance to pay by token to get more cash? did they removed the option to pay and be in negative and balance the books by 7 days?
I used to get that sometimes, but then the player would usually go to the last bidder shown on the player's profile on the auctions list.
You have to have enough money to make the initial bid. After that, you can sign other players or build something which might take you below the amount you bid. Once you qualify for the knockout rounds you can keep going until you get the player.Quote:

It's sad but understandable. People get competitive and don't like to lose. Especially when it's some rich kid with his daddy's credit card. I keep away from the transfer wire. Usually I'll buy later in the season to set my squad up for next season, then buy two scout players when the season starts. Let the rich kids bid themselves into oblivion. It seems the transfer wire is far worse with outlandish bidding between level 4-8 or 9. My level 11 squad has better luck with transfers than my level 6 squad, where it's impossible to win five star transfers.
My god thats insane. Whats wrong with scout players if your spending that many tokens?
I bought a scout on day one this season and today he became world class so i should get about 4 seasons from him. How many seasons will this guy get?
That's just it. A 22 year old scout player will likely level up to seven stars before too long, and you can get four seasons out of him. A five star transfer will usually not level up, unless you get a youngster, and will be almost obsolete after two seasons. Who's foolish with their 98 tokens?Quote:
