Question about skill points, qualiy and contract details

Hey guys,

I have a concern about skills points and quality of my club. At the moment, my all player store many skill points (see my below picture). However, I don't want to add them now because I want to keep the quality of club for next season. If I keep all these skill points, I would like to know whether the game will be count on the quality of the team or not.

Also I have some players with their contract will be expire at the end of this season. If I don't extend the contact now, whether the game will be count their quality to the quality of the team at next season.

with skill point`s you have a couple that can go 1 rating better, every 15 = 1 rating and every 75 = next star if player is say on 30 and 5 star means he`ll be 35 and scout ( 6 star ), myself i`m saving at mo as i over 1700 skills ready for new season but i have saved them over last two seasons

with contract your fin at moment as when contract does expire you will have 7 days to sign or they go on a free transfer at the moment they are still under contract so keep an eye open for when it say`s you have 7 days to sign or the leave on free and also don`t add any skill saved till they signed or it cost more to re-sign

I understand what you talk. But I I concern about the quality of the team. If I keep all skill point (not add them now), whether the game will count to total quality of team or not. I want to keep the low quality of team for new season (that means my team will join low quality Cup).

Yes if you save then you`l get around the same Quality team for new season then add skill for cup but this does alway`s work out as i`v lost to a lower Quality team plus other teams will/could be doing the same :(

No I don't think the game counts unused skill points towards the total quality of the team.

You have 7 days to sign contract with that player, if not they will go.

Don't be fooled guys. I think the game DOES recognise skill points earned, even if they haven't been assigned yet.

I know your information, but what I mentioned was quality of the player. It's different with training speed.
If I don't assign skill points now, it'll be a disadvantage for this season; however I want an advantage for next season.

Yes, but as the quote says, the unassigned skill points are still recognised when counting towards quality (and stars) of the players.

For example: Say a player is on 48 quality, and 19 skill points away from next star (quality level), and he has 21 sk pts unassigned. The game recognises that the play has enough points to advance a star level, and so slows training. Therefore surely, if the game recognises the points for training, why wouldn't it also recognise these same points for playing / value / quality totals?
