    I have a current 6* player (was 7 when I bought him). He is in his second season with me, and the best mark he's ever had is a 7.

    1st place level 1,2,3,4,5,6,7

    The Champions league:
    1st place level 2,3,4,5,6 - 2nd place level 7

    The cup:
    1/4 final level 3

    He was put into a league a level higher than his manager level and when this happens the scout list has 7* players instead of 6*.
