I have a match today against this formation which i'm not familiar with:

1. What is this formation called?
2. Which formation you suggest against the above?

PS: i prefer if i can to use 4-4-2 formation. Would this formation work?

Normal mentality, down both flanks with mixed passing, normal tackling, zonal marking. No counter, no offside trap
I agree with dv8r, but the butterfly has only 1 ST. :p 4-4-2 could work, it depends on the teams involved, but it's a very defensive formation, it's good to make use of AMs or DMs.Quote:
