Highest possible age before retiring????

Hey guys,
Was just wondering whether 34 is the highest possible age till when the player doesn't announce his retirement or their can be players who stay longer:confused:..... Like, most of my players have retired announced retirement when they have hit 34, some when they have hit 33 and a few when they have hit 32. I have heard that some retire as early as 31 as well. So, is there anyone who has had players stay up till 35 or higher???? Like, someone like Ryan Giggs???:p There should be a few players who should be generated as veteran......... To make the game a bit realistic.

I had bought a free agent last year who was 32 and announced retirement so cudn't sell him. When i made a thread asking how can a player announce retirement when u have just bought him, the latest he can do is next season then i got a reply saying the Free Agents can announce their retirement whenever they want and someone said he had bought one who retires at 31. So, that's what i had heard.... :)

I also have similar experience. It's okay as this is probably realistic. But the problem is that no pop up box or news informed me about this.

Yeah 34 Is the oldest I've had, I managed to get one on a free a couple of seasons ago just that season as I had major injuries.

Never seen 35 yo still playing, maybe should changes their name to Ryan Giggs or Javier Zanetti ? :D

Yes, i think 34 is the maximum.
In one of my team i had one player that anounce retirement with 31.

nope, just sold a 33 YO guy with 3 years left on his contract (35). bought him 2 seasons ago, 1 SK away from 6, he was a fast trainer so he could kind of keep up, just renew his contract this season

strange thing is someone bought him

I renew a contract at a player with 33, the contract said 2 years, but he retired with 34 and still 1 year of contract.

That's a bummer. I'm curious if you remember did he get a sign bonus too?

yes this happens often....... that 35yo thing will never happen:)

He probably did.
A money grabbing footballer, one of the few realistic things in the game! :D

Yes, he still was in the team 1 season, played 1 game in that season scored 2 goals got a 9 and MOM and won the prize of player with the highest rating in the LEAGUE.
In any case he was the top scorer in the team history, with the most number of goals scored in one season 35 and the most number of MOM in one season 12, he also had the most number of assistes in one season with 20, but that recorde is now from Guzmán with 33.

Was in the team 4 seasons, so i didnt worryed with it.

weird, thats probably what was going to happen with my 33 YO, im guessing the person who bought hims going to be confused like 'i bought a 33 YO with a 3 year contract, why did he run away at age 34?'. simple answer is: hes trollinhos spy sent to steal money from you. bit by bit it works doesnt it?
