El Capo 153.1 4-5-1 V then 40 Minutes 3W-5-1 V then 63 mins 3W-Hex - July Fourth 154.3 3W-1-4-2 then 4-4-2 68 mins
This is the biggest clash of the all when it comes to our server, Defending champions July Fourth taking on a very strong and tough El Capo this evening for the right to claim who is the very best on our server, The early chances fell for El Capo and Bourzouk who is the best player on the server at 165Q broke clear in the first minute got through on goal and put his shot wide, July Fourth kept on giving the ball away and giving away free kicks early on and El Capo missed another chance when Ferreira Berna put his free-kick wide, However July Fourth soon got into the game when Kusama broke clear and squared off for Papaleo to give us the lead, We had a good spell that lead to Kusama breaking clear once more and Laurinyecz went sliding in and fouled Kusama, He then spit on one of our players which lead to a red card, Benayoun put the free-kick wide, but July Fourth were able to take full advantage with a double corner right at the end of the first half with Petersen crossing in for Calavicci who scored to add to the 2 goals he scored earlier in the league in the 4-0 win that sealed our league title. The second half begun and again July Fourth won a free-kick and Beanyoun hit the wall and it went for a corner, The corner came in and Petersen crossed in and Kusama headed in for 3-0, From then with El Capo playing with 10 men and July Fourth in control it seemed that this final was over, well it was but El Capo fought to the final whistle pressing forward with a substitution when looking for goals, But Knight and Calavicci were able to prevent El Capo from getting anything from this final.
Goals: Papaleo (18) Calavicci (45) Kusama (50) MOTM: Papaleo.
So July Fourth retain the Shark Cup on our server and it means we can celebrate this evening and we won the league earlier on with a 4-0 win over "Bulgarian Team" But we mustn't get too far ahead of ourselves because we still have the CL Final to play in our attempt at our 6th Treble and who are our opponents for tomorrow's final... El Capo again.
However we must consolidate El Capo here, A large token buyer like ourselves and I feel that the red card certainly did no favours for him whatsoever tonight as he has a very good team that is capable of beating us.
