We started the cup against a abandoned Team from same level, litle less Q, away.
Easy win by 5:1 Stojicic from long range, Khemila, Sucerquia, Barbu all 3 from corners(2 from Sparagna, 1 from Alves), Sparagna from long range made the last.

started the cup playing home against similar Q Team.
We won 2:1 but they manage the away goal what it is not good.

So having spent 451T last season at level 9, bringing in ten new players (9 scouts and 1 off the auction), the owners of FC Halifax Town decided that they would not be investing like that again. The message was sent to the manager that even though the club possessed an arsenal of 1268 Tokens that any replacements to the squad would have to be on the cheap this season as they believed the current team was more than good enough to secure Champions League football again.
With that in mind it was decided to sharpen up the squad a bit instead of going into the Scout Market. The manager sat down this morning with Mr Scout to look at the players on offer, but was left more than unimpressed with what he had to offer. So then the manager got to work in bringing in some new faces and off loading others.
19 yr old DR player Marica of 69 quality came in at a cost of £20.1M and 5T.
20 yr old MC player Erdemir of 69 quality came in at a cost of £20.2M and 8T.
19 yr old MR player Kurdobadze of 69 quality came in at a cost of £20.2M and 4T.
19 yr old CM player Cancelo of 69 quality came in at a cost of £18.2M and 1T.
22 yr old DL player Creac'h of 69 quality came in at a cost of £14.5M and 2T.
23 yr old DR player Leudiere of 69 quality came in at a cost of £16.3M and 6T
20 year old MR player Kok of 69 quality came in at a cost of £20.2M and 2T.
The manager has expressed an interest in bringing in young players this season to replace older players in the squad, many of whom were of less quality. Of the 7 new recruits several are close to tipping over to 70 quality.
To make room for the 7 new recruits the manager agreed to move 7 players on.

Having spent 28 Tokens bringing in these new 7 players the manager was delighted that by agreeing to watch some video's he could recoup some of those Tokens. 21 Tokens were earned doing this meaning todays transfer spurge has currently cost the club 7 Tokens and a spending deficit of around 30M.
The manager has informed his directors that he is now content with his team, having got 19 players who were of 69 quality at worse, with the best players at 71. The manager was even more pleased with getting a lot of youngsters in to the team in replacement of older slower players.
Before he concluded transfers for today, he did fire a warning shot to 24 year old ML player Harab of 67 quality, 24 yr old GK player Mussoungui of 67 quality and 25 yr old DC player Toogood of 68 quality that their futures at FC Halifax Town were coming to an end. The manager has stressed he is happy to keep all 3 players for the remainder of the season as back up to the first team and none will depart unless he finds a really good young player in their position at 69 quality.
The manager is very happy that at the end of the day he is only 7 Tokens out of pocket having vastly improved his squad. Losing around 30M on transfer fees is of no concern as FC Halifax Town are not short of money. The 55M given to the club for prizes from last season has covered this shortfall and also allowed FC Halifax to secure 6 players who were in the last year of their contract on longer ones. Compared to last seasons loss of 451 Tokens on Transfer opening day its been a good days business.
The manager and his directors have agreed that the scouts that Mr Scout brought to the managers attention today really were not worth pursuing and taking into consideration last seasons huge scout buying it was quickly decided to abandon going for more scouts. Currently with an arsenal of 1261 Tokens and a squad the management are happy with the aim this season is to try and farm to at least 1500 Tokens by the start of next season - this will remain the same even if the manager decides to replace the three players he has given notice to today. The manager is clear in the fact that no real life money will be spent on the game yet again (he will never spend real money) - and that all Tokens must be got from farming videos and surveys like before.
Bring on level 10. Promotion to level 11 in 27 days time is expected with Champions League qualification the minimum expectation. The manager is expecting his side to challenge for the title, but won't make any bold statements about getting it until he sees if he is up against Token buyers or not. The manager will not go for scouts in a bid to out gun any other stronger side and will be content to finish in the top 4 if needs be.

Just wasted 36 of my hard-earned tokens. 25 of them were spent in bidding war without winning. The remaining 11 helped me buy two 5-star players (the GK with SA), and three 3-star players for free. I think the team is good enough to get me through the first week of the season, so I can buy better players to compete for CL and Cup.

The last days of the previous season brought great results - Teresa FC won the Cup, FC Dreamhunter became the third time champion in a row and secured the Champions-League, Berkshire Utd achieved the same results like Dreamhunter and finally FC Sakura was runner-up in both League and Champions League.
I did not have time to do any re-shaping of the squads right now - with the one exception that midfielder Markus Schatz got transferred from Dreamhunter to Teresa.
The first foud matches in the Cup brought three wins (including a convincing 6-0 from Sakura and a quite surprising 3-0 away-win from Teresa against a stronger team) and a 1-2 loss away for Dreamhunter. We hope that all teams will be able to advance and that soon we can tell you of new players for each team.
I don't plan to invest as much time and tokens in the next two seasons as I will be overseas for nearly two weeks and will be also on a couple of business trips. So I really can't tell which goals we have right now. For sure to reach the eliminiation rounds of the CL and end in the Top 4 of the League. We also hope to advance in the Cup as far as possible...

Berkshire Utd avoided to be out of the Cup the second season in a row in the first round. After a 2-0 yesterday our team did not adapt well to the new tactics of our opponent in the first minutes and so after 9 minutes we were 0-1 behind. We did obviously not play the best we can do, but with an average performance we could avoid to get a second goal and finally advanced to the next round. It seems that after our Cup-Win two seasons ago this is definitely not the competition we do best. But anyway - our minimum goal is achieved!
Now we are looking for a new DMC in the Quality Range 41-44. Let's hope we get one for a reasonable price and for reasonable tokens..
Palaiseau Fc may be eliminated the first time in 1st round. lost 1-4 away. we have less than 5% chance to turn it but i will try it hard. Last season we also need a 2-0 win and we did 3-0 againts a 5Q better team and now we need 3-0 againts 5Q lower team, we 'll fight to the end . if we couldn't no more tranfer will take place. we save all token for next season and concentrate only in the league and CL.
Even after a huge defeat of 2-6 (for me) my opponent isn't giving up and strenghten his squad with Five 5* players .. (7* for me)

Nothing worse than taking on those bot teams, they are simply too overpowered and its where troll results are most likely, AEPRE United started the game well and got a goal on 15 minutes with Charles, but the bot equalised with their best player Ferreira dos Santos breaking clear and setting up Grimaldi for a tap-in, We needed another goal to progress since the first leg was 0-0 and we got it from a corner from Stanisic crossing in for Bossekota.
