    Training speeds

    Hi,

I'm a couple of weeks in to playing the game now and have picked up on the fact that not all players of the same age train at the same speeds. I have some guys who can pick up 150 from a practice match and others of the same age that get less than half that. One of the guys I bought gets 50/60 and improves so slowly I'm thinking of just selling him.

Guess my question is, can you tell before you buy how a player will train or is it just pot luck. And do you sell guys that improve slowly?

    Thanks for any help!

    Alex

    the highest MV and above
    4m (q29)
    5.5 q34
    8.0 q39 ... for 18yo

some time the most expensive young player in TM is still so cheap to be a fast trained player.

So, is there effectively a MV that you'd expect to see for a player of a certain age and quality. For example, would an 18yo, 19 quality, have a MV range that you could assess somewhere? I've noticed that the value also depends on the position played? Still slightly confused!!

You could have an 18yr at 30Q and an 18yr at 25Q at the same price. All that it means is that the 25Q has greater potential.
Whether he realizes that potential is totally dependent on the manager training, playing, use of boosters etc. during the players career.
