    Possesion

Sorry if this is a noob question but its been bugging me for a while. IRL football/soccer, the team that dominates the midfield usually enjoys most of the possession. Is that also true in this game? Say two equally skilled teams were matched against each other. One plays a 4-3-3 and the other standard 4-5-1. Would the latter of the two enjoy more possession because of the majority of midfielders? Sorry again if this is a dumb question.

4-5-1 will likely have more ball possession. It also depends on the tactics used by both sides. If the team using 4-3-3 use short passing and the one using 4-5-1 playing long ball, then the outcome is uncertain.
