My GK today got the man of the match with a rating of 7. Even though there was 3 players on the park with a rating of 8!!!

How can my GK get MOTM when there was 3 players who played better?

3 others are opponent players and you win/draw the match.
check form of your player if you touch something when the tab report of the match just rise in. if you click in sorting with some criterions Soem bug may occour on this screen but check your rating after, all go in ordre

Maybe he made some saves ?
I had a few games before where the goalie with a rating of 7 was chosen as the man of the match because he made 1 or 2 saves.

Checked his form stats, he got a 7. I won the game 1-0 and the 3 better players were opponents.

He made 1 save from 1 shot on target. I would have presumed that to get MOTM he would have to have been the best player on the park yet according to the wonderful Nordeus match rating system there was 3 players on the park that were better.

I often hear people say that ratings are nonsense. I am unsure but maybe they are right? My GK has ratings 5-6-5-7-5 and i have kept a clean sheet for 15 games?

Because MOTM is given to the team that won. I've never seen it given to the losing side before.

If it was a draw then there is probably a good chance your opponents would have gotten the MOTM.

He get those ratings cause off your defense. If the game is boring for the GK he get's those ratings
