Just checked my formations for the league matches,how many times I've changed it so far.
Game 1. 3-4-3
Game 2. 4-1-3-2
Game 3. 4-1-3-2
Game 4. 4-1-3-2
Game 5. 4-1-3-2
Game 6. 3-1-4-2
Game 7. 4-3-3
Game 8. 3-1-4-2
Game 9. 4-4-2

Oh god ! I used 4-4-2 for 9 games in the league, never beaten. 8 W and a Draw. But as i'll follow your advice, i bought 5* AMC (21 yo) yesterday and today i will buy a DMC too.

As far as I know, 4-1-2-1-2 (diamond) always own 4-2-2 classic unless the opponent quality is very high.

So far, I have 5 sub account, I use that formation and all of them were champion in league in past 3 seasons

I tried 4-1-2-1-2 for a couple of matches in my first levels but 4-4-2 always owned me. And that's why i switched to 4-4-2. But it seems like i will need to switch to what you said from time to time
