July Fourth Squad Presentation S26/L26

Although this seasons squad is not as strong as in the previous 3/4 seasons in terms of relative strength, It does feature an 8* first choice XI for the first time in 3 seasons due to the recent replacement for the aging Randy Knight, Sandy Beech is only our 2nd GK to have reached 8* along with Knight previously. Yossi Benayoun,Chano Petersen and Stacey Papaleo are the only 3 players to maintain 9* status and the rest of our main players are at 8*, including the aging Al Calavicci who has been trained back to 8* because he is still a high performer, Angel Miku-Zidane maintains 8* for the sole purpose of being a triple role player. Frankie Harrison is 8* for the first time this season. Issem Lenoil declines due to poor performances and our longest serving player Hatsune Miku also declines to 7* because of single role and old age.

At the time of posting, July Fourth are still the highest quality team on the server and now because we are the highest level on our server now, we look a formidable team to play against for the other teams.

LEAGUE ROUND 9

We played the highes Q Team in the league that plays 442, away and we manage a draw, not bad.
They scored first, but Bragastini gave us 1 point.
1:1 final result
We are now 3rd and tomorrow we play 1st

CL ROUND 5

we played the 2nd in the group at home, and we manage the 5th win.
Sparagna scored for us, then Santos scored the second, but still in 1H they equalized. In 2H Santos gave us the lead.
3:2 final result, our MC Santos was MOM

won my champions league game 4-1 even though i missed for obvs reasons so am now through to k/o stages as group winners with one game to go and also won a hard fought away game in league 2-1 V 3rd so i`m now 3rd and i play league leader tomorrow at home so change game time as i`m at parents

July Fourth Season Update

League: We lead the league by 4 points over nearest challengers INCORRUPT and FC.KOYTALA, We have won every game so far bar a draw against RC ZAMO VIGO.

Champions League: We are through to the knockout stages for the 25th consecutive season and we will win our group and avoid playing against El Capo in the last 16.

RR "Shark" Cup: We are through to the last 16 as expected and haven't really been in any real trouble progressing so far, We face Milo Academy in the next round and we should progress further.

I haven't been posting much recently because of my current negative thoughts on the forum and I'm very unlikely to return to posting normal at present.

Transfer News-

I bough a 5* 64Q 29yo GK. I needed a replacement for Hoyos as he was conceding goals every match. Hoyos will be a sub now. I wanted a one on one stopper but there r many people to bid on them so i just found this guy at off time and bought him for 1T and 14 million$. He has not played any game so far this season and is probably a gen. He is just 5 SP from 6*. So he may be my 6th ever 6* player and my 1st ever 6* GK!!!! Hope he performs well.
Now i need a good DC and then a good DL. My attack and midfield is very strong. I needed to strengthen my Defense and GK. GK done. Defense remains. Hope to get more Ts as gift from Nordeus so i can buy a good DC before the 2nd leg of Cup Round of 16.....
