I seek the best formation possible for my team with a 4-4-2

First Possibility : 4-4-2

I want to know what you think of each formation, their strengths, their weaknesses, and how I should have arrows in each of these formations.
I also would like to know how to adjust for each formation tactics.

I'm pretty sure the 3-2-2-2-1 (butterfly) formation can beat most of those formations and it's more effective than the ones you have.

If you can't use it..
I like the 2nd possibility, it's my kind of formation and it's a nice attacking formation with wingers who can tear up the flanks.

What is the best of this 4 formations ?

Depends what you're up against really.. 4-4-2 is very balanced, better if you put red arrows on your ML/MR and DL/DR.

Not really a fan of 4-1-3-2 wide or 4-3-1-2

Ok ! 4 - 4 - 2 , with red arrows in my MR and ML it's good ? but, it's not dangerous red arrows for DL / DR ?

Number 2 is what a lot of people have when playing 4-4-2, some also have number 4

Up to you really :) Play with number 4 first, if you're not scoring enough goals then play number 2

focus passing ?
pressing style ?
passing style ?
tackling style ?
marking style ?
offside ?
force against attacks ?

Normal mentality, focus down the flanks, pressing own half, passing short, tackling normal, marking zonal.. Offside and force counter unticked (off)
