A little question regarding a youth player

    Hey there people!

Today I got my two youth players, nothing special there. Normally, I do not take the player, that costs tokens, but today I'm quite unsure and would hear some opinions of you why or why not taking a player like this:

It's a ST 18 yo of course, rated 63, what means 4* in league 10, costs 24 tokens, what is the max as far as I'm concerned. It's the best youth player I ever had.

I mean, it's quite expensive, but I guess, he has a lot of potential, so I could power train him at least up to 6* without a problem and I would burn some green packs, where I have over 300 from.

The thing that makes me unsure is, that I dont really need a striker in my team. I play 4-5-1 V or 4-1-2-1-2 ND.

These are the strikers I have so far:

ST 70 (6* and former Scoutie), Corner specialist, 24 years old, who was also the best scorer last season. (Value 20.7 M)
    ST 66 (5*), No speciality, 19 years old. (Value 28.2 M)
ST 62 (4*), 1on1 specialist, 26 years old. (My reserve striker who doesnt get in the team often) (Value 11.2 M)

What do you think? Would like to hear your opinions and helpful words on my problem...

If you can train him to replace another, while adding value and longevity, then you should go for it, If you can afford it.
If you can buy similar on the quiet market, then maybe that option takes preference?

Good luck with your choice... As long as the squad depth and quality improves.

Wouldn't you have him surpass your topstriker easily with the 300+ rests you have? He should be your topstriker next season easily?

Get him if you've enough tokens and provided you can't buy a better player from auctions.

Well I know why spornybol said that,I had signed 2 24 t youth players till date, one of them was a goalie and he stayed in my team for 4-5
seasons, his training speed was fast so he was always a 5 star player before age got to him...Another one was a winger who I couldn't even keep for 3 seasons because of his inability to train fast...

turned out to be slow trainer even though i read they were fast trainer`s so i was given a dud so not wasting 24 token again, can get better in transfer market for less, although i`m not saying your player won`t be fast trainer we all learn from mistakes it whether you want to take that risk

Took him. He developes quite fast, 1 session of each 3 trainings on hard gives him almost 3 points!

    Thanks for the answers.

guys, i got a trainer last season that was 15 tokens, but he was literally the fastest trainer ive seen. that 24 tokens fastest trainer is all bulls**t. my 15 tokens trainer was 64 quality and 32 million (highest priced 18 year old for that quality) and he was training at 180+ for practice match, 120+ for cardio and 50-60+ for stretching.
