i would like to know how a players quality and stars are upgraded to next level. for eg. i have a five star player, when will be become a six star player.
i have a five star player and his quality has gone from 64 to 67 still he doesn't get to six star.
sorry for posting a new thread on this. been trying to locate a old one so i don't have to post this but i can't find any.
are you on level 9? The Stars are awarded on oughts and fives. So, when he hit 65 he should have gained a star, though as well they lose a Star every Season.

am on manager lvl 10. some players gains star when quality changes by two eg. if player quality is 63 he will get a star when he reaches quality 65, but there are three players whose star won't gain even when he has gained about 3 qualities. don't know if it is normal or if it is due to bug.Quote:

The overall quality which is what determines the star rating of a player, is an average of Attack, Defence, and Physical attributes.
Ie, a player will be 70 rating if he has 70 Att/Def/Phys, or 75 Att, 60 Def, 75 Physical. Basically add all three together and divide by 3.
It takes 5 Skill points to raise each Atrribute (Att/Def/Phys) by one, therefore it takes 15 skill points to add 1 overall quality to your player.
Players will gain a star rating when their quality ends in 0 or 5.
I think you have been confusing overall quality with each attribute.
Ie. just because a player has gone from 63 to 65 defence doesn't mean he will gain 2 overall quality.
