I received a friend request. Since friend's are drawn up with you in a league competition, I am cautious of who I add and who I don't add. This friend seem like a full time token buyer. Don't misunderstand me, I have nothing against token buyers but if they are gonna be on my league competition, I would not have a chance of qualifying or even lifting the trophy.Attachment 19961
if they are same level and both have a chance going up to next level then i avoid friendship so to avoid the next season
I personaly dont mind if my friends are token buyers or not, if you get them in the same league so be it.

I watch Video's every day and fill in survey's and download app's via tapjoy on ios,android,pc to get as many tokens as i possibly can get.
It happened to me, last season i had 2 teams that buy tokens, and this season i am in a LEAGUE with 5 token buyers.
But i dont mind, i have real competition instead of stupid bots, i am current 9th because there is also another 4 teams with similar Q that my team. If i dont promote, fine, i have a young team, next season i Will have a team full of 5 and 6* players.
If you want to win the league then avoid him...and if you want to enjoy the game add him...My 2 friends are heavy token buyer and I got placed with them in the same league...
Guess what I defeated both of them fairly comfortably...
I never add anyone from my server.

The main thing is the league is active and evolving. To lose is ok to win is ok. Both mean the same, if you learn from each.
why bother adding friend you dont know? with friendlies meaning jack squat now, its all about making sure they are not in the same level. If they are levels below you or above you, friend them all you want, but stay away from people at the same level and you never have to worry about them in the same league just in case they do buy tokens.Quote:

Let me tell you my story this season...
First opponent from CUP. I defeated him first match.. (he is Vietnamese)
Then he sent me a friend request. Fine accepted it.
Then, he arranged a friendly.. I won the friendly and lost the second match of the cup. Luckly on the first game
I won by a good margin so I qualified for the next round of the Cup.
Then he was in the same league when the list of teams was published on the 3rd day.
That guy was playing me on round 6. He arranged a friendly before the league match.. I won... Then he changed his formation and I lost in the league.
Today, was the second match against him on the league. Yesterday he arranged a friendly agaist me.. I won 4-2.
He changed his formations and strategies and today we played for the league and I lost 2-3 (had win bonus 600K)... and I also lost the lead of the league.
He is 5th or 6th at the moment...
What I learned... In order to win the league, I will not be adding friends from the same league. Do not give any chance or weapon to your opponents to discover your weaknesses (no formation is flawless). Besides, no pro team in Europe, Brazil, Japan, etc have friendly matches with opponents of the same league or division.. so that is what I will be doing from now on.
Also, found out that win bonus is useless... what it really matters in this game is FORMATION! Of course you need good players and strategy but on a similar level, formation is what it matters!!!
If a long time friend get in my league (I have a friend since lv 2 and we always support each other during matches but never got in the same league or cup or CL), then I will unfriend them that season and add them at the end of the season. If they do not accept friend request anymore, so be it.
