So, what makes this happen?

I have played this game for 4 seasons now. Everything was great till, last season (in CUP) and this season (in League Cup).
In both these games at knock out stage 1/8, 2 game sum was DRAW. There was no penalty`s at least it didn`t show me that something like penalty kicks have been made! And always the other guy gets to the next stage!??? Why is that?
Ok, i get it if this time it`s an active player, but last time it was a BOT player! A screenshot for you to better understand!



In the screenshot you can see that in both game score sum is 5:5!
So is there something that i have missed? And my complain is useless?

For example : if you pull out a 2-2 draw at home and 1-1 draw away the oposite team gets qualified

I had exactly the same score 2-2 outside and 1-1 at home and I passed to the quarter finals
