This game is pretty unfair…….!

I go from level 1 to level 2 and my team lose 10 mill in value.
1st season i played the cup against level 1 and 2 teams. I lost the final against a level 2 team that of course have an advantage.
But now i am in the cup as level 2 and have to meet level 3 and 4 players. I am the only <redacted> player from level 2
That is pretty damn unfair. Now i play against teams that can buy level 34 and 39 players and my highest players i can buy is level 29 players.
This is so unbalanced it can be.
Put me down to play against at least only level 2 teams or level 1 teams.
It is mine time this year to have the upper toe since least year i was the underdog.

Well if you gonan let me play against level 4 team then at least introduce me to their transfer market so i can buy level 39 players also <redacted>.

It gets even more unfair when some are on the old market and some re on the new market...:)...

it happens to all of us . every season i play guys 3 level above me . still i managed two semifinals and one final appearance . hopefully i`ll win it some day

Yes pelegrini also must be saying the same, plus we have better Q, playing at home to lower division team bla bla bla troll result game engine screwed ect ect...

Seriously tho the teams in cup r supposed to be somewhat balanced, even if they r 2 lvls above u chances r they won't have much more Q then ur team

The reason it seems 'unfair' to you in the Cup is that your team is a high quality for it's level.

Cup is seeded by average quality, so it's more of a challenge. It's difficult, but it can be done. I've regularly had Cup seeds 3 levels higher than me, and I've won it twice, take it from me that when you do win, It feels like more of an achievement.

You'll probably walk the League and CL with the team you have, and other players will probably see your team and feel it is unfair they have to play you.

I don´t have so good team.

The point is that everyone as level 1 manager can buy 24 lvl players and level 4 managers can buy level 39 players. The manager that is one level higher got access to higher ranked player for the same price as it would for for a level 1 manager to buy a 24 he can buy a 39. Only same level managers should be able to meat each others in the cup.
This system is so stupid that if i want i can before this season ends and i am on my way up to level 3, sell all my players so i get under 20 skill team then buy level 34 players after and play agains level 1 and 2 teams. That is something i will do anyway since the player value drop so much after the season no player worth keeping. Just better buy a whole new team each season. Everyday you get 1 coin + 1 extra every 4th day so you can save up 35 coins for each season and that should be enough to buy 11 new top ranked players.
But the worst part is the drop in value. I lost 150 coins on this season change since my team vent down 10.8 mill in value. Most of those players i bought was for the future and i bought them the 6 last days of the season.
All these players i was supposed to train special talent on and sell them later with profit.
My most expensive player went from 2.76mill down to 2.07 mill and he is age went from 18 to 19.
You guys never warned us about this value lose after season ended. If you had done i would never in my life used coins to buy expensive player when their value will just drop off at the end season and you lose all your investment.
The players value in this game are as cars they will drop in prize after being used …does´t matter if they get better at all.
I learned 1 thing never buy players that cost more than 600k and those who are top ranked (29 for a level 2 manager) It i pointless training up players since they will jus drop in prize and next year you will replace them because all your work training them up had no value at all.
Please sort your game out and make a real football manager game.
I never in my life played a game where players lose their value just because they go up 1 league.

I want a refund on those 150k coins i used to buy money for that you stole from me 3-8 days later.!!!!

Not sure if I get your point, but I have some players that improve enough to keep them for the next seasons. Also they didnt drop in value. My 19 year old striker started with a value of 900k 2 seasons ago when i started this game. Now he is worth 1.75M and again almost a 5* player.

Also I never buy players that late into the season, since they drop a star, as you know. But to be fair this is said everywhere, so this should not come as a surprise.

Well it won´t come as a surprise anymore but due to that was my first season i ever played how could i know that would happen?

Most of my players went down in price special the expensive ones and the talented young players.

All the players that went down in price was actually 18-19 years old.

All those players who got down in price was improving too. My goal keeper f.ex i trained from level 14 to level 21 + special skill and went down in price from 1.3 mill to 870k this season and he is now 20 years old. He was worth 740k when i got him, i build him up to 1.3 mill season end and this game take all my work away and drop him back to start 870k. You feel pretty much screwed over.

I figured out the more the player was worth the more he went down in price it really sucks since i had 5 players worth more than 2 mill and now only 1

I had no players under 1 mill and now i got 8 players under 1 mill.

Most my players was worth between 1.5mill to 2.76 mill now they are between 1 mill to 1.5 mill.

10.8 mill is a lot. Buy that amount of money with coins and you figure it out..

Now i sold 70% of the players i had and bough new ones with 29 skills and all cost around 500-600k each. Not gone do that stupid mistake to buy expensive players you believe you can have season after season or sell with profit. Which this game should be about, building up players making them more and more valuable and when they are around age 25-26 they should be worth the most.

It is a good game but it should be more realistic.

The played should go up in price the higher skills they achieve but when i got to level 2 i find 29 skilled players cost less than 19 skilled players even same age. That don´t make any sense to me.

You are so right i should defiantly stop using real money on this game it isn't wort it. Well everyone can learn from mistakes and i did it the expensive way.

I know it is a cup but the system they go after can make people "cheat" them self to a tittle by selling all your players before next season, you go 1 level up and buy top players there and are in the cup with the weakest teams. I can understand the system that equal ranked teams meet each other but they could at least inform you about it.

Ive never heard anyone complain about the 1st season so much hun !! lol your going to love the game when you spend real money and in level 10 you carn't beat the whipping boys !!!!!!!!!!!

set yourself goals for the lower seasons !!!!

Goal 1 ... never spend a real penny

goal 2 ... improve your team

goal 3 ... champions league etc etc

don't worry about the price they never lose the quality value you put into them !!!

What is whipping boys?

Don't be too alarmed, his marketvalue rises progressively with his skill lvl. As long as they're not older then 21 years, they'll be on their seasonsends MV soon enough. If you keep training them this season as you did last season they'll surpass it easily. At age 22 their training capabilities drop, so if you want to save money, sell the 21 year olds in the last week of the season.

There's no way of knowing, but the team you start with can be pure gold. If you pay little effort in your young talents they'll be good to win the first 2 seasons. You might end up in tough leagues and cups if you push your quality to the max.

Players lose some value at the beginning of a Season, as they are older, but I still buy late in the Season because I hate bidding wars. As you play and train them and apply skill points their value goes up. The players with the highest values do train faster than others and are worth having (even on a team than doesn't buy tokens) because you can have them a few seasons or more. I train my guys a lot so I can keep them longer.

You can succeed in Cup as you described, but for me that would ruin my team. I carry a full squad to compete in Champs League, League and Cup, and it's just me but I like all 22 guys I have and can't imagine replacing them seasonally. Also for me putting a bunch of new guys out, you have no idea how well they are going to play. I like adding one or two new guys at a time to see how they do.

There are 3 things related with market value, age, quality and training speed.

What you are saying is that you whant to pay more for a 30 years old player that for a 18 years old one, because If the market value did not decreased with the age that what would happen.
Do you really whant to pay the same amount of money for a player with 21 years old with the same quality and speed of training of one with 18 years old?

Seems hard to believe your Level 1 team lost 10.8 mil through promotion. Whats the avg loss, like 20%?...so your team value at the end of season was approx 50 mil? WHO has a 50mil value level 1 team! I bet if you have a look around you will find it hard to find a level 2 team worth more than 10.8 mil total. Mine was 20mil or so end of season 1, and I was grinding hard and buying! So you must of been on another level (not literally). Guess i'd be pissed too if id invested that much.

I agree about fast trainers in early levels. I was trying to find that holy grail fast trainer in level one, buying up the most expensive youngsters I could find. And it does seem counterproductive. That's a **** load of green packs you're gonna need to keep that swine on point going forwards.

I reckon early levels, you just buy quality older players and perhaps one or 2 young guns you can hope to carry forwards. My team was pretty kick ass end of season 1. And 2 days later Ive only got 3 of em left in my starting 11, and a few hanging around the bench area.

I'm also in a higher cup, level 2 team in level 5 cup. But that's a good thing IMO, just means much bigger prizes to shoot for. And a challenge will be nice too, dull winning every game vs BOTS and donk teams.

What struck me is that it is the players who was 18 years old and turned 19 years that had the biggest value drop

Attachment 20760 This player value was 1,14 mill. I trained up 50 points in special skills and he was level 14 when i buy him but put a few points there, he drops 404k in value when he turns 19 years old.
Attachment 20761 This players value was 1.57 mill. I trained him up 33 points in special skills and from level 15 to level 17, he drops 400k in value when he turns 19 years old.
Attachment 20762 This players value was 1.68 mill. I trained him up with 1 special points and from level 23 to level 25, he drops 570k in value when he turns 19 years old.
Attachment 20763 This players value was 2.45 mill. I trained him 30 special points and a few points in 24, he drops 580k in value when he turns 18 years old.
Attachment 20764 this players value was 1.87 mill. I trained him up 1 skill points and from level 24 to level 25, he drops 570k in value when he turns 19 years old

Tony Adams the player who got as a attached thumbnail value was 2.15 mill. I trained him up 50 skill points and from level 22 to 23, he drops 570k in value when turning 20 years.


The rest of the player that lost value i already sold as my 2 goal keepers that each lost 400-50k in value.

Both those goal keepers i trained 50 skill points on and 1 of them i trained up from level 14 to level 21 he dropped 450k in value. Other i just trained from level 14 to 15 + that special skill. He dropped 400k in value.

I sold 7 more players that is not on this list and all dropped between 300-500k in value. Everyone of those was level 18-20 years old. Most of them i trained special skill on + some i leveled up 5-6 levels

I putted a lot of work in this so i got the right to feel screwed over since my project was to buy talented players that was a bit expensive since they grow faster and sell them with profit later when they are perfectly trained up.

Guess that goal went to hell.

For me the building of players is the most important part of a manager game and this game failed on that part.

It took me a week to get him to scout quality, and add his special ability.

It would have took about 5 times longer with a cheap old player.

He's still the same quality after 2 seasons too, that wouldn't be possible with an old player.

So take it from the more experienced players, it is better to buy young players. :)

Also, according to those pictures, you've tried to add SA's to nearly all of your players, and that is why your team has decayed so badly.

The amount of skill points you spend on an SA amounts to an extra star of quality if you'd used them more wisely.

Also, special abilities add NO value to a player.

I know special skills don't add any value to the players but i did´t realize a special skill reduced the value with 500k.

I think my misstake was that i putted to much passion into this game and my team so maybe why i feel screwed over. I wrote down every value increase every player had all the time and what skill they went up in. When a player increased in value i went "Yuuuhuuuu!". I took this game to far i guess hehe so now i not gonna bother building teams anymore. Just gonna sell all my players right before season end and buy new one when next season start.

A fast trainer can reduce is value in 25% a 31 years old player Will not lose value.
The reduction in value takes in account the age and the speed of training, every player regained is old market value in 2weeks, só they always increase the value during the season.

In my first season i bought 18 years old 3* fast trainer fir my reserves i sold them with 21, 22 years old, with only the Daily training i gained the double of the price i paid for them.

If you keep the players 2 or 3 seasons you always Will gaine money.

An SA doesn't 'de-value' a player.

Your 'mistake' was trying to add an SA to EVERY player in your squad.

If you'd focused on their quality, they would have held their value and still have been high enough quality to play in your next season.

Nearly every one of those players would have had an extra star in quality.

But...the early levels are all a learning curve, I guess you were too hasty and had to learn the hard way, but you could still give the competitions a good go even with the players you still have :)

Special abilities (SA) do not reduce the value. When you train a SA the price of the player stays the same because the player has no quality improvement.

What reduces the value is the end of the season and the player gets a year older.

About the player development. In the lower levels (up to 7 or so) you are short on cash. Try to keep your team value moderate (some good fast growing youngsters, some middle age players up to 27 did the trick for my teams).
Later in the game your stadium and the youth academy (free 2* players you can get for free and sell for good money) help you to develop good talents. Furthermore the training center at a good level gives some green packs and player development is more effcicient in terms of stamina and training rate.
But please don't do my mistake and fast build the facilities at the first levels, you are only sad about the amount of tokens spend and you get again money problems. Build steady, try to win some trophies in the early stages and later in the game enjoy harder competition (managers who mostly know what they are doing and good player development).

With respect, it is true buddy, multiple forum users have experimented with this and it has been confirmed as fact.

Players increase in value when you increase their quality.

You're not listening, the 50 or so skill points you used to add an ability would have been better spent on increasing his quality, he would have been worth a hell of a lot more by the end of the season and so would not have lost as much value.

We're trying to help you here mate, you're obviously new to the game and it helps to accept advice from experienced users.

Players lose value as they get older, it happens in real football, and it happens in Top Eleven. If you're not happy with that then you need to possibly make a suggestion to the developers. Every other player has to deal with this in the game and it is all part of player management.

If you train players effectively, you can still make a profit, and also get more seasons out of them.

Take a look at the last photo of the player I posted - that was when he was 18.



Now look at how much he is worth a year later.

Player lose value in real football yes but i doubt in real football a player that is 18 years old and improves his skills lose value when he turns 19 years old…. he would probably not go down in value before the is around 28-32 years. If he is trained with progress.

If i am not wrong people say the value reduce is only as level 1-3 player level and you are way higher level so for you it might be different.

Another thing many of my players was bought on end season so the value fall for me is more drastic than you that played over 1 year.

1 player i had for 3 days and he went down 400k in value.

If my players did´t lose any value when new season started i would´t made this topic.

But please explain why a player that goes from level 14 to level 21 + get a special skill lose 510k in value?

This player i had from the game started so he was with me a whole season.
I feel you trying to tell me that if i had trained my players right they wouldn't lose value but there are you wrong.

Don´t think many people out there manage to get a player from level 14 to 21 + a special skill in 28 days because i needed to use a lot of health packs to do it.

Pity you had to lay out cash without going thru a learning curve of some sorts.

They Will always lose value, as i said before fast trainers lose about 25% of there value, but they also gaine them back in less that 2 weeks.

If a player value is 2M he Will decrease to 1,5M, but If you had raised Q instead of teach him SA His value would be higher maybe 2,5M so His actual value would be around 1,88 M, that means you would have a higher value player.
Of course that a player with SA whend put in the auction have higher chances of a bidding war.

If a player value is 2M he Will decrease to 1,5M, but If you had raised Q instead of teach him SA His value would be higher maybe 2,5M so His actual value would be around 1,88 M, that means you would have a higher value player.
Of course that a player with SA whend put in the auction have higher chances of a bidding war.

2 weeks is half a season, so 2 weeks later he will lose value again hehe….. damn so pointless trying to get those players up in value.

This player i had from the game started so he was with me a whole season.
I feel you trying to tell me that if i had trained my players right they wouldn't lose value but there are you wrong.

Don´t think many people out there manage to get a player from level 14 to 21 + a special skill in 28 days because i needed to use a lot of health packs to do it.

Look, SA's are secondary to Quality. Yes your guy lost a lot, as as you say level makes a difference. Some players do lose more value than others, too. If you look around on the Market and other Teams you will see the variations in value. The Market value is their Quality and their Training Ability...
