do unsigned players remain in your squad?

hey guys, quick question

if you have unsigned players and it says that he will remain in your squad for 7 days, and since a new season will start in 5 days, can you sign him later in the next season or not? have anybody tried it yet?

I've never done this before but I'm pretty sure they will carry over to the next season...Pretty useful for getting the full 3 seasons on the contract.

yes unsigned players will carry over to next season as long as he has the right amount of days before the start of next season only thing is if he is say 4 star his star will still go down 1 star

edit, make sure you sign player before the 7 day deadline or he goes on free transfer
