i have set the free kick the one with the best attack stats ! and even i have a free kick specialist ... same as yours it fails :D:D
Pick a player with the highest shooting and crossing stats to take free kicks.
and for corners which player could be the best one ?

Haha I've never had a free kick specialist ..always just chose the one with highest shooting. And he is currently my league's top scorer :)
My freekick specialist is DR
He score more than ST:eek:
But my 1 on 1 specialist ST , fail to score when 1 on 1 to GK;)

I have a free kick specialist who have the same problem with you
My free kick specialist:
A 19-year-old midfider,
either foot,
overall quality: 72 (5 star), attacking quality 73.8
crossing, shooting: 74,
Statistics in taking free kick:
40% being saved
18% hit the bar
18% hit the defender wall
15% goes wide
8.99% being blocked
0.01% goal
Can anyone tell me why
Advice? Replace him with an other one, don't use always your players for penality, corner or free kick just because they have a SA :)Quote:

I have set for
*Free kick left&right :top attack stat (except the one with corner kick because they always cross instead of trying to score)
- usual they have to be the ST Players !
*Left&right corner kick set the one with Pass+cross better then all others (usual are AMC/L/R or MC ...)
*PENALTY KICKER : i ignore any SA and i chose especial to the one with top attack stats then the next one until i fill out the list !
*Captain : i use the gk but i think the best is to chose the one with top mentality stats !

My corner specialist (26 year old DC) scored 15 goals this season and 10 of them were from free-kick. (I was watching the game, i dont know the others) He also has 20 assists :) 15 goals and 20 assists for a DC, thats amazing :D
if is a scout i will understand it but if your DC is a usual 4~5* then it is amazing !Quote:

interestingly the one am having now 5* instead of him is left footed and he struggled to have same effect especially in corners.. both are CM by the way
then they should fix this. its a problem. i am trying not only to assign corners and free kicks to correct feet players but i am also trying if possible to have left foot dc or left foot st etc to correct positions in the formation as it is in reality. i feel realy dum that i bothered myself with things that don't matter at all.Quote:
