My players didn't do ANYTHING at all, conceded a penalty kick after 4 minutes, then not a single shot for whatever reason. Now I'm in second place with 1 point difference, the league is not lost but there's not many opportunities to recover, the other teams aren't that good.
Now, I could have easily made 1 or 2 goals in the cup, but no, I dominate the game, but then again, for NO REASON, I concede a goal, and he's away, so I have to score 2. I tied, but then again, a lot of fouls and yellow cards, lots of penalty kicks that my specialist completely misses.
And now I'm out.
Way to waste a season! The cup was my main objective.

It does seem to happen, big game and with 5 minutes you are either a goal down, key player is injured or red carded and despite everything you do the ball will not enter the net.
A bit like football sometimes really...

from my experience, when you're playing vs a lv above team, although the quality looks the same, he has more efficiency in the game (and it's the opposite for you).

Wow, I got a challenging champions league draw.
The draw consists of 29 league champions and 3 teams that finished 4th last season. The league champions are all the same level as me, the other three teams are all a level above me, one of them is defending a champions league title and all have 5* average quality for the entire roster. Safe to say they'll be 6/7* players by seasons end.
While welcoming a challenge is an exciting and exhilarating prospect, i'm don't think buying tokens is wise this season, since it'll only encourage Nordeus to make Champions Leagues like this more often.
As usual the game decides to stab my chances in the cup early on..

To give players with no patience a way to buy players that look nice on their squad screen with all the orange stars? Scouts have their uses, but only a select few of them are ever any good for multiple seasons. Negotiations and the transfer list provide me with a good foundation, training does the rest. Keep buying tokens though, you keep the game running with your purchases. :)
Finding a gem on the transfer list is so much more satisfying than buying a scout as well. Finding former scouts on the TL for 1T even more so.

Scouts are useful, but you are better off buying young 5 stars early in the season and then using the tokens you would have spent on a scout on green packs to train them up over the course of the season. Like I said, scouts are there for the same reason candy crush has boosters, they might help you win, but they aren't a guarantee, you just need to make the right moves with the board you have. Spurs just beat Man City because they have strong young players that are multipositional and offer a lot of problems. They also have a world class GK and a few academy graduates in their squad. Don't be Man City, bro. You can only buy trebles by manipulating your cup and league draws, if you aren't prepared to do this, then you are better off taking the long road to success.
I agree and having consistently found scout players to be substandard I will only buy through negotiations or open market. One plus is that I've bought a few players on recommendations and these have proved to be very good with constant 8 ratings. I was waiting for a MC and struggled in the market then bought one through recommendations and he's the reliable backbone of my team now.Quote:

I am not surprised at all because I encountered this for about 10 times. I have not been allowed to attend all matches which are started at about 11:30 a.m. GMT+8.
In future, in case I have no time to attend my match for whole day. I will change my home match time in order to use this feature to prevent opponent managers attending match.
The game reeeeally made sure I don't qualify in CL to knockout stage in my last game.

In my CH.L. game today, two penalties, my 6* GK couldn't save a shot from a 4* oppo player, last minutes the ball flying over the wall in a F-K and after that a corner but the decision was already taken.

5 losses in a row. Sure that this is the first time in history of this team. Today I arrived late. The team has already conceded 2 goals at 3 and 4 minute.
In last 3 matches,the average match ratings of players are 7.0 or 7.1. With these ratings, I think losing in all 3 matches is unlucky.
The team is still competing CL. I feel hard to fix player form problem when competing multiple competitions.

This season my transfer market seems really bad, no good young players, the ones they have don't cost a lot and I'm not buying someone who isn't going to train fast, I'll wait and see what comes up over the next few days before buying.
