Why cup prizes are different for the same level teams?

We compared cup prizes with my friend, who also is 6 level. My prizes are: 355K, 533K, 710K, 923K, 1.2M, 1.56M, 2.03M (608K for win). My friend's cup prizes are: 650K, 975K, 1.3M, 1.69M, 2.2M, 2.86M, 3.71M (win: 1.11M). As you can see prizes are almost twice higher. Why? Is it fair? Does other teams overall level also differ in these cups, because of different sizes of awards?

Your friend is in a higher cup level than you and therefore with higher prizes, probably because had a better team than you in terms of overall quality on day 1 of the season.

I m in level 5 and I find ur cup match price exactly same as mine.so u being in level 6 must have had similar team overall quality

Cup is about Q.
Higher Q means higher challenges and rewards.
