Has anyone else done this?
I'm only L2 so my numbers are quite low. But I bought a 3* player on free agency for 7.5k and his value was set at 405k. So as soon as I bought him, I turned around on sold him. He just sold for 422K.
I don't know if there is something I am missing but this seems like a killer move.

Yes this method is called free agent farming and it is a more effective way of turning some T to $ in the early stages of the game since you often have a shortage of $ at the beginning of the game. It's only possible now on the old market.
Alot of people do this when they need some extra cash! its OK in the lower levels but later on the tokens are worth more for getting a player you need rather than waisting on making a quick buck!.
Yea I thought about this before...farming free agents, but then I figured I would waste too many tokens bidding for the player coz they will be hot property...
I still do this even though I have enough tokens and enough money available. The more money, the better.
So in the higher stages, how do teams get more tokens. Without buying them with real money of course?
"Farm" them by watching videos and doing offers.

Or save them up!, another way is if you have multiple teams in level 4 or higher you can buy players from your teams so you gain a few tokens that way, there is an expensive clause to it as Nordeus takes a huge chunk of them aswell.
I bought this player on FA and wanted to sell him for a profit. Maybe I just found a flaw in my system here. Can anyone take a look at this and see what the issue is?

He is in his last year and is planning to retire. Does that affect it?
Yes, that's it. So look out for younger FAs. You can get oldies that you cannot sell.
