Tottenham FC 1st team lost ther 100% record today with a 1-1 draw!, I blame myself for letting the team down, I forgot about the match and when I remembered It was 1-1 81mins GRRRRR.
CL: Celtic Rangers suffer their 1st loss in the CL this season going down 3-1 away in the 1st leg of their knockout stage tie.
An early goal in 6 mins from a free kick put CR behind. CR replied mid-way through the half but went behind again 6 mins later from a double corner and headed finish. CR pushed hard for the equaliser in the second half but their fate was sealed when, following of period of sustained pressure the home side slotted a 3rd in 83 mins. CR clung on - a headed miss from a corner in the 89th was the only threat they offered in that final period.
CR Manager said afterwards "we conceded too many free kicks around the box - we need to sharpen up our tackling and maintain our shape." The home manager said "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..........".
League Round 13 - 49 Unbeaten
Racing Santander 0-5 July Fourth
Benayoun (13) Papaleo (23,28,86) Petersen (84) MOTM: Benayoun.
Benayoun scored an early free-kick to get himself onto 199 career goals before Papaleo hit a first half double... Then we left it late for more goals when Petersen broke clear and made it 4-0 and Papaleo completed the hat-trick just afterwards.
July Fourth completed the first half of the league on 13 wins out of 13... For the 6th time in the clubs history, Only once in the previous 5 occasions, July Fourth have gone onto complete the 26-0-0. With a favourable league draw this season and our good form which is similar to league season 21 so far shows that this is a good chance to go perfect once again but it will take a lot of work this season if we are to do it once again.
July Fourth's win today also takes us to 49 Unbeaten in all 3 competitions since we lost last against Ottomans 1453 around this stage last season. We are still going on strong in all 3 competitions and and there is no reason we cannot match the feat we completed in both Season 14 & 26, When July Fourth went through all 3 competitions without losing a game. Our club record currently stands at 77 unbeaten for all 3 competitions.

The 26-0-0 is on... Can we do it?
Tottenham FC 2nd team won 4-1 away in the 1st leg pf the champions league knockout stages so we are nice position to go through with a 4 away goals!.Attachment 23467
Two away matches
Today FC Bristbury had two away matches, one of which it felt like home, as not a single home fan turned up!
First of all we had a Champions League match which should have been a walk in the park but quite clearly wasn't. I missed this match due to revision in the library, but FC Bristbury scraped a 3-2 win out of the bag, meaning that, fingers crossed, we should progress to the quarterfinals.
Then we had a League match. Danny Pritchard got a place in the starting line-up due to Viera's unfair red card yesterday, and he proved his worth with a goal from the spot. But star player was Michalis Labrou, who at 31, is our veteran striker. He proved he still had it in him today with 2 goals, lots of chances created, a rating of 9 and Man of the Match! The fans are fond of him - to them, he is a Ryan Giggs, and FC Bristbury will be keeping him until the rules stipulate that he cannot play anymore! The final score was 5-0 to us, the visitors!
Benayoun scores 200th career goal while Papaleo scores 350th
Champions League Last 16, 1st Leg: wisconsin 0-6 July Fourth
Kusama (24) Hardy (27) Benayoun (39,78) Miku-Zidane (48) Papaleo (71) MOTM: Kusama.
July Fourth enjoyed yet another goal fest as they easily beat winconsin in the 1st leg of the Last 16 tie of the Champions League and that sends us through to the quarter-finals. After a bit of time it was Kusama that gave us an early advantage midway through the first half moments later Regal breaks clear and passes to Hardy for 2-0, Benayoun's free-kick just before HT was his 200th career goal for July Fourth and Miku-Zidane made it 4-0 from the restart, Then Papaleo broke clear and scored to make it 350 career goals for the club, before Benayoun added his second in the game.
All These Injuries, Man...
The first match of the evening. We played lousy. We ended up at a disadvantage after 2 minutes. But Zlatan turned the game on his own with four goals. There is a reason why he is a captain (not just because he is Swedish) Our 2nd goalkeeper Courtois had a chance from the start, but got injured and will be away for 8 days. Now we have only three replacements to our disposal. I guess that all theses injuries will stop us from winning the treble this season. Now we can not afford more injuries. This was a league game by the way.
A 5-1 victory is far from good enough!

Buffs FC stutter to a 2-2 draw away in the Champions League knockout phase as they are pegged back twice by vastly inferior opposition. Not what Buffs were looking for with a tight away tie coming up in the league.
Celtic Rangers score 6 in the league - keeping a clean sheet in the progress.

Champions League - 1st leg of the knock out stage
The game starts with an injurie of Axel Witsel (4 days off) This must be a joke. I happen to get back one of my MC's tomorrow, and another one gets injuried. Anyways - we won the 1st leg away from home with 1-4.
We also bought a new goalie for 1 token and 4.6M I named him Thibaut Courtois - I will sell the other Courtois ^^

1st Leg Cup Quarterfinals
As you can probably see, a very odd formation to even be able to put a team on the field today. Our opponent chose to play a straight 4-5-1, and we have the material to put up with the same formation, but we have too many injured players to be able to do it. I tried to make the best of the situation, but it was not quite enough. Sure, you'll surely be pleased with a 2-1 defeat away from home. We must not forget that our opponents leads his league by far, and is one level higher than us. If We avoid new injuries on important players, than maybe we can turn this around in our rematch in two days. But it does not look bright. Ball possession was 52-48 to him, and shots on goal was even (5-5) But he got a free-kick in the 75'th minute and converted. Just as Zlatan did for us in the begining. Tough game as I predicted. I think our cup adventure ends with the Devil. He was very active and changed formation during the game. He must have thought that I'm totally dumb who use an invalid tactic in such important game. But I simply didn't have many healthy players available.

League Round 14: July Fourth are just not a 26-0-0 team
July Fourth 1-1 Jon Utd
Beattie (87) Box (88) MOTM: Dobrev.
July Fourth were completely outplayed in this fixture as Jon Utd managed to cancel out July Fourth's tactics and also play good attacking football, Only our strong defence prevented Jon Utd from going ahead in the first half and Beech had to pull of a couple of saves too. The second half was very much the same and you could tell it wasn't gonna be our day when we made 2 substitutions bringing on Watson and Miku-Zidane and straight away Watson was forced off injured and replaced by Box and we had been forced from ND to 4-5-1 V because of this... Jon Utd finally got a late goal from Beattie on 87 minutes as he broke our defence and beat the keeper to compeletely shatter our 100% league record this season... But we immediately won a corner and Petersen crossed in for Box to score an unlikely equaliser and to keep our unbeaten record in all 3 competitions intact.
We are disappointed of course and to be fair we didn't deserve to score the equalising goal either. Jon Utd deserved to win this game.
Whenever July Fourth sense an opportunity for a perfect league season, It always seems to fail.
No chance. We will have El Capo in our league and our team will be weaker in relative strength and I'm not getting anymore tokens.
This season will be our last season with an 8* team and next season will likely mark the end of the 'Platinum Era'.
Another treble then... I guess.

Celtic Rangers win 3-0 away in the league to remain in pole position. Manager Midas McConnigal praises the opposition. "Any side that achieves 15 shots on goal (5 on target), 1 freekick and 5 corners from a paltry 20% possession against my team deserves respect." Bot Robot made no comment.
Tottenham FC continued there charge for the treble and make history for the club with a 2-0 win against a team 1 level higher, there was only 1Q point in the teams average so I new it was going to be tight!, I also noticed he was playing 4-4-2 flat which is a thorn in my 3w-1-4-2 formation!, 3w-1-4-2 struggles with it but this season I have been experimenting and 4-1-3w-2 has over come 4-4-2 FOUR times this season so I played it with a back up plan of changing to a 4-3-3 if I was struggling!, I set orders to hard attacking and force couter attacks and it paid divedends, Tottenham FC won 2-0, we kept a clean sheet so we are in a nice position fot the second leg. Goals from Sheringham and Hoddle did the job.

This is not our season, we create chances, but the ball dosent whant to get in. Worst our 2 highest Q players, now both on scout level, start to have bad ratings.
We lost in LEAGUE away 3:1 i had conection problems, whend i manage to log in, was already loosing 2:0.
In CUP we lost away 2:1, we still got a chance but with only 1 goal with 20 shots, i dont have many hopes.
A a Z FC
We can say goodbye to the CUP, just lost at home 1:5 against a token buyer same level.
Why do u wanna win the league with 26-0-0? I mean it doesn't matter if you've won every single game in a season or if you have lost 3-4 times. As long as you're champion you should be happy and not always looking forward to an even better season. At some point it's nearly impossible to be more successful... Just take it easy and have fun... Imo it's ways more comfortable without those huge amounts of pressure ;-)
