Going well so far won in CL-Cup and league matches so far. But this happened on the last match :(
League campaign off to a slow start 2-0. Highest score in the league today 2-3.
Ravers move from 10th to first. :)
Garner & new signing Tony Parkes the scorers.
First injury of the season Wilcox 32min played the game with 10 men again! 2 day thigh strain, could have been worse.
Parkes another legend from more recent times. He joined Rovers in 1970 from none league Buxton Town, what a servant to the club Fans loved his no messing approach, perfect role model.
350 games between 1970-82 then took up a coaching role with the reserves.
Six stints as caretaker manager between 1986- 2009 followed by a short session at Blackpool, he is now a part time scout for the club.
axim fc survived a scare from inter milan side from libya lolz to win their opening champions League game 5-1 in Group H thanks 5 goal triumph.
second game for first league game.axim fc comfortable to beat scout fc side at away 3-1 come from 2 headers and superb counterattack put axim fc in command.
axim fc boss axim told reporters: "We only played for 30 minutes and those 30 minutes were brilliant. We expected an improved performance from scout fc. but we controlled the game till the last minute"
Hmm, tomorrow's cup game against ManUtd FC looks winnable. 2 levels higher but it's 39.0 vs 41.2
He plays with 3 DCs, DML, DMC, DMR, MC and 3 strikers in a 3-3-1-3 formation... Not sure how to go against that. Was thinking butterfly but not entirely sure... Any suggestions?
Thats a fair defensive unit, if I remember correctly I finished off are friendly with the same.
It's gonna be a tough one to crack.
First decision to be taken is do you go three against three at he back if you do, then I think that a 3DC V formation with the extra striker or AMC may give you a decent shot, perhaps putting down arrows on the DMC to help the DC's as he has only one MC against your two.
Putting up arrows on the DMC and playing the AMC would give you the stronger mid field, still think he will bypass that though with long counters up to his strikers.
Defensive with counter would be the obvious choice but depending on the match up attack with whole pitch pressure and O/S could limit his chances.
Not an easy choice.
Good luck!
The most intense league that I have so far!

The quality difference isn't big, and most important thing : All of them are active players.
As a "creator" of this league, I feel very proud, :p
Thanks Accyrover. I'll think I'll start with the 3-6-1 V then possibly move up Petersen to ST for a 3-5-2 V during the match if it doesn't go well. Starting with defensive counter then going attacking with offside trap at HT.
not too bothered about losing but it would be very nice to go to the next round for the extra few million in cash :)
Check!

Another late night finish.
LGE: Ultraslan (away). Won 2-0 (Flanagan 48', Mancini 76'). MOM: Jacek Rydzewski.
First match of the league season against an unknown quantity. Pretty even first half, but took control after the break. Seamus Flanagan opened the scoring after 48 minutes, and Luigi Mancini made the game safe with an unassisted goal, a quarter of an hour before the end. My 'keeper got man of the match for 2 superb saves in the first period.
CL: Holzbeinkickers (home). Won 3-0 (Lanwer 20', Flanagan 41', Kennedy 82'). MOM: Seamus Flanagan.
City got their Champions League up and running, with a comfortable win over their German opponents. New signing, Bjorn Lanwer continued his impressive start, by heading home from an Ayala corner on 20 minutes. Seamus Flanagan added a second, just before the break. In the second half, we replaced young striker Teddy King, with another new signing, Hector Morgada (Argentine), for his debut. Dave Kennedy completed the scoring direct from a free kick after 82 minutes. Flanagan collected his second man of the match award this season.
So not a bad start to the season. 4 wins from 4 in all competitions, with 12 goals scored and zero conceeded.
And to make life even sweeter, the team which beat me to the league championship last season, without losing a match, lost their first league game tonight, 0-2.

Cup: Dalby United 2-0 Troyes FC (8-3 agg.). Simaga 67', Svendsen 74'. MOM: Simaga
After winning the first leg comfortable (3-6), Dalby United started the match with some solid defending. During the first half, Troyes FC had 11(7) shots on goal, all unsuccessful thanks to some brilliant keeping by Carl Burns. The second half saw a different game as Dalby United's first shot of the game by Simaga put the home team 1-0 up. From that point on it was all United. During the second half, United put on 11(7) shots compared to 2(0) by Troyes FC. DC Svendsen headed home a corner by Idan Harari to put the match beyond any doubt.
League: Dalby United 4-0 PESADELOS FC. Galliozzi (Stefanutto) 4', Simaga 11', Marques (Simaga) 57', Harari 82'. MOM: Simaga
A easy 4-0 home win has put United 1st on the league table. Things started well for United when Stefanutto made a break down the flank and cross it into the box for a simple header for Galliozzi. In the 11', Simaga proved yet again why he is such a valued player with some individual magic to slot it home for a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Simaga had an almost identical chance as earlier, but unselfishly played it to Marques for a simple finish. A consolation goal was scored by AMF Harari when he won the ball on the edge of the box and calmly put it past the keeper.
Champions League: Dalby United 4-0 Smqurban FC. Nurcahyo (Stefanutto) 15', Harari (Marques) 23', Butters 51', Galliozzi (Marques) 53' MOM: Marques Injuries: T. Cahill (4 days)
Didn't spectate this game (fell asleep lol). Puts United 1st in the Group.
I reckon we could get the treble this season, got a good draw in all tournaments. Only one other contender in the league.
I did not have a response on the other forum that's why I post here( apologies) tomorrow I have a game against a level 5 playing 4141. I am level 3 and I read that 3w43 is the counter formation but what exactly is 3w43 please give also appropriate order I need the cash ....
July Fourth 5-2 Suht algaja vnii Champions League Group D Round 1
We go into the group stages knowing that our group isnt the easiest around with another 'scout' buyer team placed in the group. He has not yet strengthened his team with buying any new fresh scouts but with a team still of 7 x 5* and 4 x 6* hes actively dangerous to us in the competition, They won their first group game 7-0. The obvious task for us is to make sure we beat the other 2 teams in the group home and away to qualify for the knockout stage and not having to think about what this other team is doing.
Crawford scored our first goal of the game and Kevin Mensah was next a minute later with a free-kick, L.McNamara continued his good goalscoring form by scoring in his 4th consecutive game this season and is our surprise leading top scorer, P.McNamara converted a Novotny corner to make it 4-0 at half-time, however the visitors staged a mini-comeback when Schemmel and Taylor got a goal each but our right-back Holvoet made sure that we didn't faulter against opponents we had already easily beaten and he got our goal that made it 5-2.
Stadium Expansion Completed
The July Fourth board are pleased to announce that our 'Arena' stadium expansion has been completed this morning and that expands our stadium capacity from 133,000 to 157,000, which is an extra 24,000 seats, this will generate an extra $600K per home game if we sell out our stadium at $25 a ticket. Work of expanding the stadium to 'Large Arena' has immediately begun and has cost the club $268million to build and will take 25 days to complete the expansion, once completed the stadium will have a capacity of 183,000.
Tomorrow I will open a new contest, maybe a premium emblem as reward :D

I don't think Pricop will be too happy here after this, Troll City lost the 1st game of the season 4-5.
League game in 2 minutes, should not be a problem, I hope today I will score more then 5...
Yeah my League match starts in 2 mins too. I hope my Pepp does something xD 4 Games and only 1 Assist so far lolol
Pretty stupid game in league, in minute 57 he had Attachment 2096 10 shoots (3 stars team) and I had 5 (6 stars team), anyway I won with 3-0 at general + a red card.
MOTM: P. Cătălin
Yay my Pepp scored once and one assist xD
Anyone noticed how passing stats have changed, or it could just be me.
Last three games against inferior opposition, possession in my favour Avg. 65/35 yet until around the 35min they have around 90% pass completion while mine is around 70-75.
Second league game of the season, flew out to Turkey last night.
A nice 0-7 win, quick coach trip to Istanbul for the flight at lunch time to Rio de Janeiro, for the 1st leg of cup.
Goals were easy to come by in Turkey, from a defensive game played with longer balls than usual.
Ravers played 3-3-2-1-1 against a 3-4-1-2 against the side from Ankara, not a clue what the name of the club is.
Douglas (1/28/77) Pardue (8/32/52) aka Pepp, Parkes (67) Assists Tugay (2) Douglas (2) Pardue (1) MOM Douglas.
I'm waiting for my DL, he's ooooooooold 31 :( but he should be good :)
