League, round 25 - Perfect Tactics 5-0 Romain FC

Less than 4 hours to go until the big moment!

It was a dull first half, as the usual story for us this season. Crawford set up the first goal for Mata from a counter attack, apart from that it was just a midfield battle and their defence was keeping the score low. In the 2nd half we changed tactics and it immediately changed the game, Yedek made it 2-0 from another counter attack, Crawford with the assist. Then a world class hat trick from Petersen, 2 from free kicks and another from a 1 v 1 opporunity, gave us a big win.

However some stupid glitch made me unable to make substitutions during the game... I think someone had this problem before.

Just simulated my formation against a friend so I can prepare for my CL final. They are of similar quality and I played the 4-1-2W-2N-1 and it beat his 3W-2N-2N-3 5-0. It was done under the conditions that there is 0% possession bonus and both people watching, win bonus, max morale and condition.

It was 4-0 my bad. Petersen had 2 assists. Suarez with 2 goals, Bogdany with one and Kompany got one too.

Thing is playing the friendly will mean you will need to use some green boosters to power back up, I'm quite low on green boosters (only have 47) I need them for power training next season.

Just curious, how similar is your CL team to last season's final?

I have about 12 players in the 18 man squad that are the same from last season

Besiktas 90.3 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond - July Fourth 100.1 3W-1-4-2

We had a lucky, lucky escape here in the league round 25, overall a poor performance from us and we really deserved to lose this game, Besiktas started the stronger with Marco van Basten breaking our weak makeshift defence and passing it along the ground square for Ponomarenko to tap-in and give the lead for Besiktas, July Fourth responded though as expected with Stefan Zhekov getting the equaliser after connecting to a Papaleo cross and Vasko shooting from long range to make it 2-1, Then in the second half Kevin Mensah missed an easy chance to make it 3-1 by putting it wide and this is where the trouble started, A besiktas counter attack was launched by van Basten and he easily got by our defence and put it past our keeper to equalise, Then substitute P.McNamara on for Mensah got himself booked for a silly challenge, Zidane came on for Rocky and tried to kill the game off and Crawford's cross was cut out, Then in the last few minute's Papaleo gives it away and Arslan broke forward to besiktas and was through on goal, Then P.McNamara's challenge cought Arslan and he was off for a second yellow and Besiktas has a 90th minute penalty to end our 75 game league unbeaten run and unbeaten season in the league... OVER THE BAR!!!

July Fourth need 4 goals against at home against Sungurlu FC at home tomorrow to score 100 in the league this season. We don't mind the draw we couldn't get 26-0-0 this season anyways.

Wow, dramatic end to the season! Would have been worse if you were 24-0-0 up to now... Just the CL final to go now!
