An exciting day for all T11 players today with the new seasons league teams illuminated for all.

The new season in Level 8 brings Mssie Lodge up against one full scout team as well as 3-4 other highly credentialled opponents, although nowhere near the strength of last seasons Level 7 League. A Champions League position for next season is well & truly achievable & even winning the League is a distinct possibility if the team is managed to its full potential.

Some important changes have been made to the squad with several players leaving for greener pastures & no less than 5 5* players being brought in during the past 2 days. We have yet to purchase our 1 scout player, however a classy 64 skill point mid fielder is a high priority & will be included into the squad within the next few hours.

Looking forward to a terrific season with League, Champions League & Cup all achievable objectives in the up coming season.

Chronicles from The Eagles...

League Opponents: The management of The Eagles held an emergency meeting about 4 hours ago - re: league opponents in the upcoming season. We rushed to scout to strengthen our squad with a ST and GK both rated 49. This season will be our toughest so far in 5seasons.

There are 4 strong contenders for the league title (RaYo vAiLeCaNo rated 39+, Alians fc rated 42.2; FC Coolrunners's ; 41.8, The Eagles rated 43.

Factoring only the starting 11 for the four teams - there is just a marginal difference for the 4sides. To add a twist to the tale, we also have 2 pretenders to the crown - you may call them spoilers but the will have a say on who wins the league considering there teams are rated 36+.

The CL is not any better. We have a team rated 42+ to contend with at the group stage (both teams should go through though).

Predicated on the above, team mgt revised the expectation down to more realistic goals:

* A top 3 finish in the league (The Eagles will fight to the very end)
* CL and Cup is up in the open....

Considering we have won at a double the last 3seasons, the questions on the mouth of most fans is - are we going to win any trophy this season?

Almost a case of deja vu, with my new league set-up. I finished second last season, but I've found that again, I'm in with all the other 6 teams who got promotion. Of the other "new" teams, 6 of those are already friends in the game. So only 1 "stranger". Also, 1 of the new teams, is also in my Champs Lge tournament.

First league match tonight is away at the "stranger".

Have to say that is absolutely a bag of bollox and yet again just shows how bad some servers have had their leagues fragmented.

No wonder there are new servers springing up every season.
It must be costing a fortune to service those with only around half the number of managers that are needed to maintain the earliest servers.
Bandwidth is not cheap!.
