So, it's not the average quality anymore that determines in which cup you should go, but your best player.

For example, this season I have an average quality 131.5 and in my cup there are people with more than 140, even 145 some of them.
I never had such a difference in average quality with other players before, so something must have changed.

Its only about quality if there are enough teams of similar quality. Once the numbers are not there you get bigger differences because the system has to cast the net wider. I'd think the number of teams might be moreof a factor the higher you go.

Also there's the Day 1 'improve your team for the Cup race'.

In my case, although I'm only level 4, I'm sad enough to have just clicked through every team. I'm 33.1Q and the teams range from 32.8 - 39.1 (lvl 4-lvl6) - so not bad. But the 39.1Q team is the exception so he's probably improved today. If it wasn't for that team then the range would be 32.8-36.9.

I think so because i am level 3 and i am playing in a level 5 cup.My another id get level 6 cup.
I think i will lose the cup in the first stage as the cup winner last season. The first round was 0-0 away with a higher quality team. I want to slap his keeper on his face because he made so much saves like the game between Brazil and Mexico in world cup.

I gave you the ranges to attempt to show that at least for me it is reasonable and you agree. So, they've not changed it for me (but I'd never rule it out - I don't talk in absolutes).

So that leaves whether its just not enough teams of similar quality so higher Q ones get drawn in too or the possibilty that improvements have been made to other teams or both.

Either way I'd guess you were unlucky rather than there being a change in how draws are made. But how could we know.

If your best player is 35Q, then you still go to that cup.
Only I can prove the change because my opponents have 10-15 points of quality more than me.
