Does this happen to anyone else? Can't seem to avoid it.

In almost every cup tie i've had, i've almost ALWAYS won the away leg around 3/4-0, yet when it comes to the home leg, I end up losing? Even with 60%+ possession, more shots it just doesn't seem to make a difference what I do I always end up losing the home leg? Is this just my team sitting back with the away win in the bag or am I doing something wrong (baring in mind i've already mentioned winning the away legs comfortably). Any thoughts other people have would be useful.

Do you use the same tactics for home and away?

90% of the time. Even if I play someone in the league with a similar team to me that I beat, I seem to lose to someone who has a much worse team in the cup (only at home though), doesn't happen in the CL though.

I bet it doesn't look this way to your opponents. Two sides.

If you say so... Maybe they're thinking the exact same thing? That comment was helpful...

Its a shame you didn't find it helpful. It was a reminder that there are 2 sides to everything. In the first Cup round I won 4-0 home and lost 2-0 away. In my second round I lost 3-1 at home and won 5-2 away - in the home leg I thought I was up against it so it was damage limitation; in the second leg I thought I was out so 'I went for it', I celebrated a comeback but I imagine the other Manager felt 'trolled'. Thats the point.

btw if you really want to look at others experiences you could've looked at and posted the other 63 ties in the 1st round and asked others to do the same. It'd show a far wider picture of 'others experiences'.

But I won't bother unless you do the same and ask. And if you wanted help with formations and tactics you could've provided information about them.
