Because like the name says with the free agent you dont have pay nothing to a club, since he dont have a club, all the others have a contract with a club, so you need to pay the price to the club that have the contract.

Free agents are no different from other players except they're super cheap and only 3*. If you sign a young free agent with high market value and maybe close to 4th* it sure is a great deal!Quote:

I look at Free Agents like this: if they are near their fourth star (absolutely you can train them), and their Market Value is high, they can be a worthy addition to your Team, and if they don't work on your Team you can sell them for profit. It's great way to make $$ but be careful buying just to resell though, if they are old (retirees cannot be sold, don't buy when 30 or older,) low Q, and especially if they are an MC, they can be hard to sell.
Apart from being sacked by the Club, Free Agent can also be Nordeus Generated and these are the ones you should look to buy...
They will be of less age and high value...:)...
Those *are* generated by a club... if they are 18 or 19, anyway, those are released Youths. They are great FA's, the ones you buy to keep. :D
You will find various ages FA's but most tend to be older guys released because they couldn't be sold by their original club. The middling ones are most likely released by impatient managers who got a great player and couldn't wait for him to sell.

Yes, since you can't sell them, the 34 y.o. a good choice to sack.
