    huh?

    How can it be two things at once???

    "Lucas through to the goal! He tries to chip the goalie..."

    and then the next comment:

    "Lucas rifles in the shot"

    So which is it??? does he chip the goalie or hit it hard?? He cant do both. A chipped shot is soft while a rifled shot is extremely hard.

    Who is programming this game???

    He TRIED to chip the goalie and when it didn't work out he just rifled without too much thinking. Did you score or not?

    everyone tries to chip the keeper when he is in the clear, but they never actually do it

    I dont think you understand the terminology and the actual action of chipping the goalie.

    Chipping the goalie means you try to dink it over the goalie, and in doing so, you release the ball from your possession, making it impossible to rifle in the shot immediately after. Scoring is irrelevant to my point.

    Trying to chip the goalie is the same thing, you try to chip it over, meaning you release the ball, so unless the GK gives it right back to you, you cant rifle it in.

    So again, how can you do two things at once?

    We get what you are saying, and we agree it does not make sense. We just accept it as a fact of the game. Don't expect this game to make sense
