If you attempt your match for may be only 10 seconds your team have your 8 % for sure. If you leave it or not. I did do this many times because of work and when a player get injured the auto-sub comes in the game. So you can do this. You will definitly loose no posession if you leave the match.

If you have auto-subs pre-set before the match the substitution will be made no mtter if you are at the game or not, you don't even have to come for a short time!

It probably happened because you logged out. As I believe, If you logged in but did not specifically log out, auto-subs will not go back on. Just because it says that the manager showed up when you look at previous fixtures, doesn't mean they were there the whole time. Its the same as if you change the formation. It will still show up with the original
