Well it wasn't 1-1 at half time, I was losing 2-0........ I almost had a fit...... I played 4-5-1 V against his 4-4-1-1 like the good book said, I should say meaning 'The formation/counter chart'. Frustrated and against my better judgement, I said screw the table and looked at his down the middle scoring attacks, I already have my DMC blued, so what was I doing wrong? I put a ST in for my best D, and narrowed my 3 Ds' and played a 3N-5-2 V-style at the start of the second half, which is not recommended. The whole V came to life in the second half, the free kick from my SA ST in the 69th minute equalized the score, then the tide turned. I'm still a big SA fan.......little wonders makes a big difference in big games. I'm not the best with 'arrows' I must admit, I'm still learning, I have a lot to learn. But common sense sometimes beat just following the crowd. I will remember this game. Thanks to the 3 managers that came to support, it helped.
