Flank Question

Totally confused.

When attacking left or right flanks, whose perspective is it from?

For example, If I attack on teh right flank, is it an attack from my right flank or an attack on the defensive right side?

It's from your perspective. If you attack from the right wing, it's your right winger against the opponents left back.
