What have you learned from last season? The game engine can be an absolute prick.
Where did you place last season? I was on holiday so I don't care really. 4th.
What's your current level? Level 6
What's your budget for this season? I look into the cup, CL and league first before I decide. The cup has level 10 people in them (so I have no chance) The CL is winable, and the League's top 7 is are the same 7 players who competed with me the past 2 seasons. They are pretty much all token buyers. I want to get rid of these players so I try to get 8th this season. (not buying players)
Who do you want to replace? No one. read above.
What are your goals for this season? CL win, 8th place League, cup idc.
Update result of League day 7 n CL day
Winning 11:
League: Not the good result since draw 1-1 away at 3rd place..which we supposed to win.. did not attend the match so check the post match see after we score we have another injured and they score at min 85... don't know how many causalities we had only after 7 rounds...anyway, still at 2nd place since 1st,3rd,4th,5th,6th all draw each other
CL: Won 5-0 home game.. qualified for next round top 16 as top of the group
Tuan DM FC:
League: Lost 1-2 away with the defensive team...this is our problem..no complaint..anyway, still at 1st since the 2nd only got draw
CL: Won 4-1...qualified for top 16 as top of the group for sure
Winning Eleven:
League: won 4-1 away game..5 points apart with 2nd place
CL: Lost 0-1 at home with AGAIN 2 injured players (both midfields) even though we still has 56% of ball possession but did not watch the match so lost (the team we beat at his home equally watched 3-1)..anyway, need a draw to confirmed top of the group..99% qualified for next round

I havent seen many games Lately because of work, but it seems we have New comments.
But they have a lot of errors, the Portuguese version, is translated in Portuguese from Brasil, and yes the language is similar, but we use diferent expressions, diferents words from the same thing and even diferent meanings from the same word.
So please developers, use the right translation on google!
Fim do tempo hábil? We say fim do tempo útil
Ponta-pé? It is all together only one word pontapé
Afasta do seu golo? Afasta da sua área ou salva em cima da linha de golo.
Also the time of appearing is not correct its the end of game and in comments says its the end of first half.
The goal-keeper saves with the fingers, but next comment i score, If he saves i dont score unless someone shots again or the GK makes a bad save.
League: Buffs FC win 5-0 away to try to put a bit of pressure on the leaders. New signing Ally McCoist scores an early double and Academy recruit Jim Baxter also bags 2.
Buffs Mad was not happy and could be heard mumbling as he walked away "Their striker tried a bicycke kick....why don't my guys try bicycle kicks?"
You CAN have 2 wins per day! ;)
3-0 in the League with reserve squad. Goals from Yulinahar 13', Crank assisted by da Silva 22' and Senagul 65'. ML Tonny Yulinahar who AGAIN played out of position, this time in MC, got injured and still got MOTM. Gotta love this guy!
Later, Champions League.... vs Knightswood... We were seeking for revenge... AND WE GOT IT: 7-0 win!! Get down, Knightswood, The PaceWhores are in da house! Goals: Dapkus 1', Senagul 24', DR Michael Sieber's 1st goal in TWO seasons came on 50' assisted by McInnes, El Rayes 53', Walker 55', El Rayes again assisted by Senagul on 62', Reginald 83'. Looked like El Rayes is back on scoring ways after injury but on 74th minute he got injured again (!!) and it was Reginald who replaced him and scored immediately. Thanks to the magic powers of football for taking out my best striker the day before an important must-to-be-made come-back in the Cup!

Day 9 update:
League: Ninjaa FC won 6-0 at home against a team in the middle of the table. Newly signed MC, Javier Alonso, scored 2 goals in his debut, which is already better than the MC he replaced ever performed. There were several players contributing goals today, which is a change from some of the recent matches in which only ST Majid Kalaei scored. Kalaei appears to be scoring less frequently now though, which is a bit worrisome, but he still is already at 18 goals in league play alone, putting him well in the lead for top scorer.
The team will play an away match against the current 2nd place team in the league tomorrow morning. The opposition is much better in average quality than the other teams in the league, but they are still a whole star lower on average. Should be an interesting match.
CL: Ninjaa FC won 3-0 at home against the 2nd place team in Group B. Based on the goal differential it appears unlikely that Ninjaa FC could lose the top spot in the group, and a spot in the knockout round is already guaranteed.
The team appears to be under-performing on offense recently, which is a bit worrisome with a tough Cup match coming up tonight. Already down 2-0 after the away game in the 1st leg, Ninjaa FC needs to be on top form tonight in order to advance. The team controlled possession in the last game, but failed to convert that into points. Hopefully, the team will control the ball even more at home tonight, and actually convert that into goals.
We started off on the right foot today, earning a much-needed 1-nil victory in the CL. Daniel Bilali took over the team lead by scoring his 5th in all competitions to open the scoring, and assisted on Aron Johannsson's 87th minute goal that gave us the victory. However, it was Danny Califf who was MOTM, as our defense held them to only 5 shots on target and a mere 2 corners. We stay in 3rd place in the Group, but are only 1 point off of 2nd.
Howard, Beasley, Califf, Grella, Johnson, Bjørge (Donné 68'), Frost, Gomez, Nogueira (Jóhannsson 77'), Green, Bilali
The League match wasn't nearly as positive, as we fell, 3-1. We were behind 3-nil just after the interval, and even though we were a man up for the last 35 minutes, we failed to generate much offense. Garath McCleary hit on his 5th goal of the season to get us on the score sheet, but that was it. He's now tied for 3rd in the league with two others on 6 goals. Academy product Fabián Short made his Chargers debut. The result sees us in 10th place and a date with another lineup full of 6* tomorrow.
Howard, Woods, Ikhide, op den Kamp, Donné, Rowland (Frost 58'), Short, Carrizo, McCleary (Green 88'), Jóhannsson, Altidore (Bilali 73')
New set of commentary arrives on PFT server. I think they made the word longer. Purely cosmetic
Update of last 2 days.
Yesterday I had 1 league & 1 cup match.
In the league match it was a battle for the 3rd place spot. After his team scored the first goal on (ANOTHER) double corner at the 30th minute to take a 1-0 lead. But the lead didn't last long because 12 minutes later my MC blasted a shot from 30 out to tie the match up. Finally in the 81st minute my striker came up big with a header to take the lead and ultimately win the match 2-1.

In the Cup match, my striker scored a goal in the 7th minute before being injured in the 18th minute. Without a striker on the bench, I had to sub in an AMC to take over for him. In the 24th minute my DMC scored, and to finish it off in the 84th my MR beat the GK to help lead B.A. Everton to a 3-0 victory.

Today's 2 matches. 1 league & 1 Champs
In the league match my opponent lined up with an illegal formation and the scoreboard showed with a dominant 6-0 beating. My MR once again with a brilliant game taking partaking in 4 (3 assists) of the 6 goals in the match.

I was unable to partake in the 2nd match, because I started a new job! So I'm not sure what happened. But I do know i'm glad I used my red packs to get him healthy after being injured.

Lost in 2nd leg of Cup 3rd round 2-1 at home to a team 1 level higher (1-4 aggregate). Opposing manager had a bunch of friends support his team and cancelled out any home pitch advantage. Ninjaa FC was technically higher quality on average, but only because of higher quality backups. The other team had a slight advantage on quality on the starting lineups.
The other team was incredibly strong on the wings in midfield and defense, and took away most chances. Even so, my midfielders and strikers all under-performed, and received ratings of 5-6.
A pretty poor performance by the team in this round, but all things considered not a bad run in the Cup. The Cup was made up mostly of level 4 and 5 teams, and a lot of them went out and bought 5 star players for their levels after the season started. Won't get a treble this season as I had hoped, but a double in League and CL is looking quite possible.
Perfect Tactics celebrates its 100th competitive match in style with a 5-0 win over Gemini FC.
Gemini FC's MC Jorge Burutxaga got sent off in the 34', while Ian Thorpe performs a Kung-Fu style tackle on their striker Agus Arif in the 74'. He received a round of applause for that kick, despite the referee doesn't appreciate his tackle style and yellow carded him. Tiziano Scarpa scored 2 longrange efforts today.
Alejandro Guzman, today's MOTM, receives a commemorative plate as he wins the award on the club's historic match. Perfect Tactics' manager also awards the players, manager and staff coaches of Gemini FC with commemorative medals.

Since I enjoy reading all your daily matchday reports I decide to join in starting today :)
Cup: Galatico FC came to the away 2nd leg of the cup Playoff match after the 2-2 scoreline at home in the first leg. They know they have their work cut out in order to advance against the opponent who is two levels ahead but has a default squad of 3* 30+ year olds (To him) which came up to 5* in my level. However his team was boosted by a previous 13-0 win on their league match so are fairly confident of progressing
The Galatico's first match with the new commentary kicks off with dogged defence by the opponent but we managed to take the lead from a double corner with my left foot Striker Sandu opening the scoring on the 6th minute. The manager decides to opt for defensive mentality to maintain the lead but eventually lost the lead after the opponent scores on the 15th minute.. With a shot by his DEFENDER (assist by his MC) Unfortunately this scoreline was maintained throughout the entire match as my team struggled to break him down even after changing to attacking mentality and eventually hard attack and swapping a DMC with a AMC in the 60th minute. His defence consistently blocked all the shots I had and my FK SA defender cannot even get past the first wall as their defenders played the game of their lives. His GK saved 3 shots which from the looks of it, was a certain goal. Eventually the manager told all his MC and ST players to bomb forward with red arrows hoping to get that 2nd goal but it was to no avail. The Galaticos are once again knocked out on away goals rule. In addition, to rub salt on the wounds the opponent took out my MC on the 88th minute and receives yet another injury to add to the ever growing list. He will be absent for 12 days with a broken foot.... :/
The manager rages and kicks the water bottle away from the dug out and mutters the win bonus advantage the higher league opponent has on their players. The manager ponders on another opportunity to progress missed as the opposition manager didn't show up for both games and Galatico's had 15% possession bonus on both grounds with support from higher level managers. It looks like winning the triple crown will once again have to wait another season.
Can anyone please help me counter this formation?

I was thinking 4-5-1V (DC/DR/AMR/AML Up Arrow, Attacking, Down both flanks, hard tackle, no offside/counter).
or
3N(DC)-3N(MC)-2W(AML/AMR)-2N(ST) ?
or
3N-5-2 V style? (down both flanks or mixed?, attack, ...)
Please help!
Thanks so much!
League: Buffs FC today entertained a visiting side from Malaysia. In fact the Buffs entertained everyone with a 7-0 win that had 4th placed Fire Truck FC powerless to deal with a hot Buffs attack.
*inset other puns regarding 999/911, 'scorching', 'inferno, 'burned' etc*
Goals: McCoist (28), McStay (36), Baxter (50, 76), Nicol (73), Dalglish (79, 83).
Fire Truck emerged in 4-4-2 flat and so Buffs started in 4-4-1-1 through the middle. McCoist was injured (3 days) in the 51st minute and replaced by Dalglish. With the score at 3-0 in the 70th minute wide-men Baxter and Henderson were pushed forward as wingers and focus changed to the flanks to add a further 4 goals.
Nicol, Baxter and Dalglish (sub 52) all rated 9 with the Bubbly going to recent Academy recruit Baxter.
Buffs Mad said "This match was a worry after the opposition had shown great resilience defensively. But now its over and my thoughts are on how to unlock our higher Quality/level Cup opponent from 1-0 down."
3-1! The PaceWhores win their 4th consecutive League game and 3rd in all competitions.
3N-4-1-2 vs SC-Tanja's 4-4-2. On 35th minute Ortega converts Senagul's cross, on 56th Edmel Reginald smashes the 2nd and 10 minutes later Schintee gets assisted by Mirauskas, dribbles, fakes a shot and scores. Later, on 73rd minute SC-Tanja pull one back but who cares?
Tactical substitutions were made, like subbing off captain Buitkus and then Senagul, having in mind Cup game later today. Although some unexpected ratings (e. g. scottish LB Ross Russell getting rated 8+MOTM) bring the manager back to hard thinking on who to trust in the important game in which we play at home and have to come-back from 2-1 down.

CUP UPDATE
like as i said i my last post D FC won there game today and is the last 16 of the cup
ACADEMICO D FC
In a very tactical game away, my opponent started with 442C, changed to 3W43 and end with 3W3W13, i just played relax with 4411 and got a 2:2 draw with a great game of Misic, one goal and one assist.
We are in the last 16 with a 3:2 in agregate.
In a home league game, against the top rated (based on average quality) team in the league, Academy FC "snuck out" a 5-1 victory. I played my "usual" 4-1-3-1-1 and the opponent played a 3-2-4-1** (see below for the arrangement of the players). After a slow start, Academy FC's Tarpani (Boniardi) scored in the 40' minute. Tarpani found the net again in the 58' minute, and saw a yellow for a challenge that injured a player in the 67' minute. The opponent scored to tighten things up at 2-1 in the 70' minute, before Academy FC found the net 3 times in the last 15 minutes. This leaves Academy FC at the top of the league table with 24 points (32 GF, 2 GA) and puts them 5 points clear of 2nd place.
**As noted, here is the awkward formaiton used:

** DC DC * DR

Cup PO 2nd Leg: Buffs go down fighting after an 1-1 away draw sends them out of the Cup 1-2 on aggregate. Both Managers watched.
The Buffs lined up against FC IB Mial's 4-3W-1-2 in a 4-1-4-1 hoping to hold out until half-time. A goal for the home side on 11 minutes put paid to those plans and Buffs Mad ordered a switch to 3N-1-4-1-1 since nothing less than a win would do. The match was full of fight and grit but not many clear cut chances - the defences were on top. 1-0 it stayed at half-time.
Nevertheless lone striker McCoist was buzzing and in 56 mins he was clean through and one on one with the keeper when he was hauled down from behind. The penalty was given but the opposition pleas were headed and no card was shown. Buffs Mad screamed "How much do you have to pay for that to happen?" McCoist himself slotted home. 1-1. Game on.
Buffs Mad went apoplectic when Bremner was first to go in the book. Souness came on for Bremner in 68 mins and Buffs Mad was deep in thought. With 15 minutes left both Baxter on the left and Henderson on the right were pushed forward - 3N-1-2N-3W-1. The Buffs harried and pressed up front and it was almost one-way traffic. Hansen and Nicol at the back were still being pressured on the break but were decisive and resolute. But with 8 minutes left the home side broke and tore though the Buffs heart seemingly ripping all hope with it. But McGregor had other ideas as he clawed away what seemed a certain goal. Up the other end it went and Baxter fed McCoist - who again was hacked down.....but this time he didn't get up. (That's 2 injuries in 2 matches for Ally.)
McStay took the FK but was denied by a wonder save from the home-keeper tipping it over the bar. With 3 mins left the corner was cleared. Buffs Mad almost exploded with rage at not being able to get a replacement on and seeing possession conceded. The win was there for the taking but the referee was not playing the game. 1-1 it finished, Buffs were out....but so too was the opposition manager as Buffs Mad butted the grinning imbecile on the way by. Let's hope te referee missed that too.
So same as last season out after missing the FK in the last few minutes that would've taken us through.:p Hulk Sad. :(

we got trolled by a team 5Q less that ours, 5:0 away 42DMC112 against me using 451V Style i am just speechless.
Again i can say goodbye to the title because of this stupid results.
3-0 loss and we're out of Cup on 5-1 aggregate :(
Apparently our "best" line-up isn't the best this season because a worse line-up did better by losing 2-1 away in the first leg.
Striker needed asap. Negotiations list now seems as useless as scout - not mediocre players for too many tokens. And negotiations between friends could be best described as "IGNORE".
Truly not BvB's best week.. My answer to 4 4 2 worked well today, but if I don't show up things go badly since there are so many good Teams in my League, I've managed to get back up to 6th. My goal now is just a CL spot.
Speaking of CL, that's going swimmingly.:D

The B team refuses to give up the league! :) We pulled off a 3-2 upset at Home, and did so in rather exciting fashion. CM Luis Carrizo scored twice within the first 9 minutes to jump out to an early lead. Our opponent made a couple of subs, adjusted and got both goals back over the course of the next 70 minutes. Then, just as it looked as though we'd settle for a Draw, LW Carl Frost - who was starting because of yellow card accumulation to Brian Rowland, popped in a free kick on 90 minutes for the win.
Howard, Woods, Ikhide, op den Kamp, Donné, Frost, Carrizo, Short, McCleary, Altidore (Bjørge 77'), Jóhannsson
The fun continued as we took the 2nd leg of our Cup tie, winning 2-1 on the road. We go through on aggregate, 6-1 and advance to the knock out stages for the first time since I was on season 7. Our foe drew first blood on 20 minutes, RW Julian Green bookended the interval with a brace, and we sailed on from there. Daniel Bilali suffered an ankle strain late - after I had arranged his sub, of course - but he'll be fine, thanks to red packs.
Howard, Beasley, Grella (Donné 63'), Califf, Johnson, Bjørge, Nogueira (Jóhannsson 73'), Gómez, Frost, Green, Bilali
Last night my Cup match is playing while I'm taking a shower, but I did won it 4-1. Alex Voorintholt, Alex Bilodeau, Ian Thorpe and Jorge Rodriguez are the scorer.
The injury has caused Dimitrov to sees a drop in form, getting a 6 rating.
After the Rogers Cup tokens hasn't been given away unfortunately, I'm going to use it on packs and trying to look for a new ML/AML.
64 years ago, we have Maracanazo, where Brazil lost to Uruguay 1-2 in a shocking way
A month ago, we seen Mineirazo, a 7-1 thrashing of Brazil by Germany
Now, we seens a Rogers Cup blow
