CL Update:

Ninjaa FC played well, and won 5-0 at home in the 2nd leg to advance to the quarterfinals with an aggregate of 8-2. Despite the clean sheet (with 0 saves needed to keep it), the defense appeared to be playing out of position a lot, as the other team had a lot of counter attacks. There were also multiple times where Ninjaa FC had counter attacks with long passes forward to a defender... Once, DC Nuno Crispim scored a solo goal on a counter attack, and another time, DC/DR Joao Barata scored on a counter attack, with the assist from Nuno Crispim. MC Vincenzo (subbed in a halftime) scored 2 goals (69', 89'), and ST Majid Kalaei scored 1 (78').

After a team with a 27.8 average quality was upset by a team with 18.8 average quality on a 4-3 aggregate, the remaining teams in my half of the draw are all theoretically weaker than my round of 16 opponent. However, my next opponent does have mostly 5 star players starting, with weak subs lowering his average quality, so the next round should still be interesting. While I prefer having the home match in the 2nd leg, Ninjaa FC will be at home in the first leg of the quarterfinals (and the semis if we advance). I'm hoping for a big win at home to give a big advantage, in case of a poor result in the 2nd leg.

League Update:

4-0 win at home against an abandoned team. Not great results considering the 5-0 win against a stronger team, with an active manager earlier in the CL, but it's still getting the job done. I kept getting disconnected during the match, which may have had a big effect. Senese went down with an injury early, and wasn't subbed out for over 10 minutes due to a disconnection. The game also continues to insist on my defenders taking shots, as multiple times, my STs passed to defenders to shoot. This includes a pass from 7 star ST, Majid Kalaei, to DL/DC Michael Kwiatowski in the 88th minute for a goal.
